Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful grounds, landscaping and pool area. Everything immaculate. Pool was not heated. Room was very comfortable and spacious, super clean. Nice toiletries. We stayed 4 nights and our rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and more toiletries and coffee. Sheets were changed after night 2. Breakfast excellent. No scrambled eggs or sausage, but hard, boiled eggs and everything else including waffles. We dtayed on first floor. Many restaurants within walking distance, and the Kristol bar right across the street

Had a short stay at the Roadstar this weekend. The property is nothing special from the outside — motel style with room doors all providing access to the outside rather than an interior hallway. The neighborhood is a little sketchy and the front desk is behind bulletproof glass, which may add to your sense of unease.
Staff was quick and professional despite the barrier, and got me to my room quickly.
I wasn’t expecting a lot, but my room was actually very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Bed was small but comfy, linens were good, and the bathroom was in great shape. If you can get past the outside, I’d recommend giving the Roadstar a try.

My family and I have stayed here on various occasions and we have always felt safe, the surroundings are clean and quiet, and the price is reasonable.

nice, clean, friendly-----too dang COLD!! (outside)
but you could not control that.
Had to use a bath towel in the shower to keep from slipping, a bathmat would be nice.
I will visit again.
