ホテル バーノン(Hotel Vernon)

This place is not the best it looks nice but their are roaches and the staff is terrible

Look like it had been fully renovated in the photos when I got there the hotel room itself had new flooring not terrible looking at all, but the bathroom ceiling had mold all over the bathtub was old and needed repaired.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Excellent breakfast. Staff are "small town" nice type of people!

A bit noisy with the highway traffic. The curtains in the room did not close well and blew about in the fan from the window unit. Overall a nice place, inexpensive and very tidy and clean.

We requested a handicap accessible room and were very pleased that the room was actually spacious enough for a wheelchair.

This place was very convenient for us with our car right outside the front door. Early breakfast was very nice as we had to head out early.

I already called and complained to ******* and made a bad Yelp review, the desk clerk who apparently is the son of the owner was very very rude, please review surveillance video has he told me it is all on video, it all stemmed from an additional 20 charge for a pet, I thought online it showed 10 and he wouldn't give me the time to show him what it showed on the website and it just got worse from there, at one point after I tried to cancel the room I was told it non refundable but when I told him I would be complaining he said he'd let me stay if I didn't make a complaint, I let him know I would be happy to leave with a credit to my account which he said he didn't charge to my card, which it would have to come from 3rd party educated then I needed a room, probably the worst part was at the end where I found out the room was on the 2 floor, admittedly I didn't think to specify I needed a ground to floor when reserving the room, I let him know i was disabled and offered to show him my handicap placard he told me it would be extra for a bottom floor!! Then he proceeded to tell me again several times he would do me this favor, in the end I told forget about it I didn't want any favors from him and proceeded to carry all my things up the stairs which I can barely go up and down without anything hindering me let alone several bags and a BIG suitcase, I actually wonder if this is an ADA violation!! To say the experience was horrible doesn't actually come close to how bad it was !!

Management was very nice and cordial. Would recommend and will stay again.

We were unable to stay the night due to an infestation of crickets, and ants in the bathtub. The overall cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory. The manager as much as admitted that he only has one cleaning lady for the entire complex, and he became rude and argumentative with us when we said we would not stay. He said he could not refund our money because we had booked through *******. I will never use this hotel, or book through ******* again.
