Absolutely amazing stay! The hotel was exceptional! Service was top class, loved all the details of the hotel! Drinks and Food was so delish! Views were amazing! Will be back!

Check in as always was friendly and very quick. We were even met by Ashwin which was very nice. The decorations inside and outside we very festive, they really get into the Christmas spirit. The rooms as always were very clean, and the housekeeping staff are very friendly. The weather was not all that great so we had limited time by the pool, but the time we did have there was always someone around. Shout out to Josh who was always making sure everyone was taken care of. We had Christmas lunch in the Grill Room which was exceptional. The food, service and entertainment we first class. Breakfasts as always the food is amazing. A special thank you to Sebastian and Zodwa the Breakfast manager. Then to Nicolene, if they could take that ladies attitude and service and apply it to everyone, there is no way that anyone could ever complain. She was always on had, always friendly and nothing was ever to much trouble. Now the reason for the 4 and not 5 stars. We have had issues on our previous visits and again on this one. Those have now been addressed directly with the hotel management in detail. So we shall see going forward what happens. It definitely will not stop us from returning in the future. We cannot let a few things/people take away from what is an amazing place that really takes you away from the real world while you are there.

Worth every penny, the food is pricey but I’ve never tasted anything like it. It tasted as if they had just caught the seafood that night and cooked it for us. We were served by the loveliest waitress, Zinhle, she was very friendly and knew what good hospitality was about. And don’t get me started on the scenery! Definitely coming back for my next holiday.

Wonderful stay at this Hotel, 5 star treatment all the way, stayed in the Lombard suite, beautiful, food was excellent and enjoyed all the amenities, including watching a movie in the cinema… staff were brilliant, thank you Oyster Box.

The Oyster Box is really wonderful. Beautifully situated right on the beach and staff who go the extra mile on everything. Luxurious, comfort , fabulous food, service and a wonderful pool area. We couldn't fault our stay. the Management and staff go beyond their call of duty to make a difference . The Oyster Box gets 5 stars from us and richly deserved. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back next year .

From the minute you arrive it feels like you in another country. Warm welcome, early Check in, welcome drinks and list goes on! We stayed 5 nights and did not bother this time around with sea facing room. Garden room is just as Nice and private( and bigger). Breakfast everyday was a feast with Letho being our waitress. She is amazing!! Management check in from Kishen, Jamail, and Roberto is very kind. The hotel really goes beyond imagination to make sure your stay is special. Very nice Easter vibe was created with small gift and lovely display. Peronella made our holiday super comfortable as she was baby sitting our little boy- she is a champion!! I do recommend her over and over! If I had to criticise somewhere, then it would be service during lunch time can improve. The food is in general nice during lunch and live entertainment a bonus! This hotel is seriously doing something right if you compare them to the other high end 5 stars in the county! Roberta and team you deserve a lot of credit! Well done! Thx and see you soon!!

If you want a truly unforgettable experience you should stay at the Oyster Box. From the moment you are greeted by the friendly receptionist and offered champagne to the moment you leave with a special nougat treat the staff cannot do enough for you. The curry buffet was exceptional and the breakfast was plentiful with Oysters and champagne. I highly recommend this hotel it’s the best I have ever stayed in.

The best service I’ve received in South Africa in a long time and we all know that South African service is hard to beat. I’d forgotten about the warm and welcoming service of the North Coast. The food was great, the wine was too and the decor is chic and fun! Thank you to every member of Staff at the Oyster Box. We cant wait to return!
