We spent 9 days here over Chris**as and very much enjoyed our stay. The buffet was good, if you can’t find something to eat, you’re too picky. The restaurants were probably the best we’ve eaten at, at large all inclusives. The New Year’s Eve celebration was a lot of fun! The staff was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately a lot of guests treat them poorly though. We are planning to do the same trip next year.

Amazing resort! Just the best people working there, taking pride in their work and providing an excellent experience for all ages. Not one bad meal or bad experience of any kind. 10 out of 10, we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Bahía Príncipe Grand Tulum☀️🌴❤️

I enjoyed my stay at the resort. The staff was friendly, and the amenities were decent. However, there were some minor issues with room cleanliness that could be improved. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience.

Fantastic family vacation! Plenty to do if you wanted with lots of entertainment. Quiet relaxing areas if the activities weren’t for you. Kids (13,12, & 9) loved it and there was plenty do them to do as well. Staff was great and engaging. Food was delicious and the beach was beautiful. Definitely something for everyone at the property. We can’t wait to come back!

Dining options were difficult to book reservations. Food presentations in the buffet were mundane, food selections were average and unexciting. The beach was rough and not too swimmable. Occidental at Excaret had a better beach.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful people and awesome food. The initial room we got was not great and needed to be upgraded - the curtains had holes in them and the bathroom had a moldy smell. We requested an upgrade and they were kind enough to move us the next day to a much better room

Amazing experience at this property. Very well maintentained. Lots of green spaces and eco-friendly. Polite and welcoming staff.

Thought the food was excellent,and we enjoyed the golf course. All of the staff in both areas were excellent.

It is part of a bigger resort. There are 4 hotels in one. I was supposed to be at Akumal, not sure how I ended up booking Tulum (my fault I guess). It is very outdated. I don't really care much, but it was so moldy and damp. It was wet/damp under the sheets. I couldn't tell if the room was clean or dirty, because of how old everything was and moldy. There was a horrible smell coming from the toilet. I had to go to the lobby ones. The resort is beautiful otherwise. Staff is amazing. Grounds are pristine and walkable. They are working so hard. But the buildings are in much desperate need of renos. At least for health reasons. I don't care much abt old vs new vs luxury. But I have a problem with mold/moisture. I switched to the Akumal Luxury one. I would come back to Akumal, but not Tulum (unless rooms are renovated).
