Great place to stay! Rooms are spacious and clean. Close to Stowe mountain for skiing and lots of close dining options.

Great place! The room was bigger than expected, super clean and had a second exit. All around great place to stay for a great price.

This property was great when we stayed last year. Our room was cleaned only once in a 4-night stay. One night they changed our garbage and gave us new towels but did not clean our room. The next night they didn't do anything. When we arrived back at the hotel after dinner we had a dirty room and no toilet paper. The front desk was closed so I had to go buy TP at a local store. When I complained the next day when my room was not cleaned for a 3rd day in a row they apologized and said my room was marked as cleaned. Unfortunately there was no one left to clean the toom so they only were able to give us new towels. To top it off the hot tub was closed for " scheduled maintenance" on 2/21. I inquired when they were going to reopen it and the receptionist just said - " I don't know, they need to order parts". I said that doesn't sound like scheduled maintenance. The receptionist just shrugged her shoulders as if to say - tough. I was disappointed because I love to hit the hot tub after a day of skiing. Now here comes the WORST part. My wife and I developed a bacterial infection due to contaminated water in the hot tub and had to be treated with antibiotics. This happened to my friend who was staying there as well.

Hotel was pretty clean and quiet. The curtains should be more opaque, those in place are like paperthin. Pool and sauna are gréât, water was a little cloudy tough. Other than that we enjoy our stay!

Grey fox in.ln was perfect for a long weekend ski trip to stowe. On the mountain road and close to restaurants. One note is that the fire in the fireplace efficiency’s doesn’t appear to be anything more than ornamental.

Decent hotel in the Stowe area. Expensive for what you get, but that's par for the course these days. The beds were creaky and not very comfortable. No water pressure or hot water for showers. The room was clean.

We really enjoyed our stay, but the hot tub was broken which was a bummer because it was one of the main reasons I chose this place! Overall, cute little quiet place.

We stayed at the gray fox inn a Saturday to a Tuesday in February during ski season. Obviously the purpose of our trip was to take advantage of skiing Stowe. Our family consisted of a married couple a mother-in-law in two teenage sons. We were very comfortable in two double queen efficiency rooms in the mountain view building. We had rooms 30 and 32. Both rooms were very clean, large enough for our purposes and comfortable. We took advantage of the shuttle to the mountain every day we were there. The stop was about 50 to 75 yards away from the hotel driveway so not bad at all. The shuttles run continuously in ski season and we never had more than about a 15 minute wait except for the time where we saw the shuttle going past as we were walking out of the room. Probably waited about 20-25 minutes for the next one on a Monday. I think they run more on the weekend. My wife and mother-in-law who were not skiing with us found the town of Stowe very charming, plenty of places to eat. Grab a beer or shop. Things that could use improvement There was a bit of water damage around the edges of the tub where the drywall had been wet. Nothing crazy, but if this is not addressed soon it will likely deteriorate be very unsightly. Our boys really enjoyed the pool and the foosball table, unfortunately, the hot tub was out of service during the time of our stay. The clerk said it had been recently vandalized. The kids still had a blast playing in the pool.

Everything was very nice, the bed was amazing as well as the pillows. Only issue was the door handle on the door to the outdoor area was broken. Everything else was very nice
