Property was fine, front desk clerk was polite and helpful. Room was not clean, stain on bed spread, something on the mirror, spill on the counter.

I feel bad about giving this property 2 stars. Maybe it was just room 123 (bottom left across the street from the main building.) However, the room was unpleasant enough to prevent my wife or I from getting a good nights sleep. The primary issue was the scent - the room smelled strongly of air freshener. Both my wife & I woke the next morning with scratch throats. The other issue was lackluster cleaning. The major items were clean but there was trash in the desk and trash on the porch.

The location is perfect - great food and coffee options. The room amenities were good too. Checkin and checkout was extremely easy.

Staff was very friendly and had plenty to share about attractions in the area. Room was convenient and clean. I was able to park just outside my room, which was critical at the end of a 16-day trip. I was able to choose between pizza or Mexican within walking distance of my room. Housekeeping staff did a great job of cleaning my room during the day I was out hiking at Olympic National Park.

I had a nice stay. Nice quiet room. If I'm going to be bougie about it, the only thing I would change is better toilet paper and the mattresses and pillows need to be replaced.

In general I would say I had a good visit. I Walked to Safeway & got my dinner, .8 miles round trip. Easy walk to & from. The noise from traffic was minium. The selection of TV channels was amazing. Even had 2 Hallmark channels! Lovely walk in shower, that looked fairly new. Very roomy though the shower head did leak when turned off & it took quite awhile for the water to get hot. I was on the 2nd floor. And it had a 'slow' drain. The sink also had a 'slow' drain. The refrigerator froze everything the 1st night. I did turn it down & didnt use it after that. And the heater was hard to regulate. Seemed like it was too cold or too hot. The bed was very comfortable & had a great collection of pillows. There was even a flatter pillow like I enjoy! I dont think Ive ever seen that before! I did report all of these things when I checked out & she said she would pass them on house keeping.

We like this property because the staff is always nice and as long as you get the building in the back it's quiet even though it's on the main drag in Sequim. Could use some updates as it's a pretty old property but we like it.

The Olympic View has the best customer service and the property is well kept. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. I am really impressed.
