The bad things - are very bad. CONS (very important to read) 1. The elevator is VERY old and EXTREMELY small. It has doors that slam up on you while youre trying to get inside. They don't even do the bare minimum in offering you to pick up your luggage to your room. Disgraceful and complete lack of respect to your guests. 2. The room had such a weak wifi we couldn't even use it, which resulted in us wasting our entire cellular package and having to pay extra for an increase. The hotel didn't give us any alternative room with a better wifi, they just offered us to try to connect from outside the room. Again, shame on you. 3. Water flow in the shower was none existent. PROS 1. Location is great 2. Cleaning service was great 3. Room was in good condition

We had a last-minute adjustment in our trip and were able to find a very nice and clean room here. The bathroom was very spacious and the staff was really great to us while we were here. Would certainly recommend and it’s in a great part of the city that’s a little slower pace.

Overall stay was good but the handle to our room broke so we basically got locked out of our room. There’s no staff on site past 8pm and that can create a real issue when something like this happens

The rooms were as pictured and clean. Receptionist answered questions quickly prior to arrival. It was easy to find but the hotel is actually on the 3 floor which we didn’t know. We called when we got there as we were unaware of this. Lots of stairs. They do have a very tiny and sketchy elevator. I don’t like elevators so I would never ever step foot in this one. Reception from 8-8. The keys were difficult to navigate so pay attention when he shows you how to use them! Design was nice and the rooms were clean. Receptionist mailed our postcards. He was very friendly. He showed us a map and where the locations of things were and how far. It was 10-15 from colosseum, 10 from Trevor fountain and 10 from Spanish steps. 30 min from Travestere. We did not go to Vatican as he said it was a 1 hour walk and we were only in Rome for 24 hours. 10 minute walk from train station. We did walk this there and back with all our luggage and two small children and it was fine. A little busy but not bad.

We arrived before check in. They gladly held our luggage so we could get to exploring. It’s not put in a closet or anything. When we came back, they had placed our bags in our room. Very grateful. In Europe standards, the room was quite spacious. This hotel is in a building with other hotels. Had to take very small elevator up to check in. The only improvement I’d recommend is the shower had lots of mold. Beautiful bathroom, with a window that opens, which is great. But the grout was black in many places. The location is not near a train station it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to Colosseum. There is a wonderful cafe around the corner to the left that serves great coffees, pastries, and breakfast. Lots to see in Rome, not sure what the best area is to stay in. We chose this hotel because we are a family of three and needed the space.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Our rooms were clean, updated and with all the modern amenities, while maintaining the atmosphere of old Rome. Location was convenient (which is why we chose Nazional 51). What we liked most about our stay was how friendly and knowledgeable the guys were at the front desk. They went over and above expectations to make is feel welcomed, days before we arrived and as we departed. Two thumbs up or 10 put of 10. Reasonably priced to.

Great place to stay for walking to all the sites. Clean and staff very nice. We had the top floor rooms that each had a balcony, great views of the city. A lot of stairs but there is a lift.

Overall this was a fine place to stay. However, we didn't have hot water. We took freezing cold showers every morning, and our neighbors who we met also said they had the same issue. The rooms are tiny.
