We loved the tranquility of the resort and could imagine staying much longer if we had had the time! (We’ll come back!). Its nicely laid-out garden, scattered with spacious bungalows with attached bathrooms, swimming pool, and a short pathway down to a private beach without other tourists, is the perfect place to wind down. Couple that with a restaurant serving freshly caught seafood, which Katie, the owner, went to catch herself earlier that day, and… their own craft Phayamas pale ale (!) and it’s like a little paradise away from home. Even though it’s tucked away from the main road, it’s easy enough to rent a motorcycle and reach other spots on the islands within 10 minutes to catch the sunset, for example.
