This place is perfect for a visit to Plettenberg Bay. The house and bedrooms were beautifully furnished, the rooms spacious and full of light. The clothes storage space in the bedrooms was a little sp****. The views from the top floor were lovely and spending the evenings on the terrace with the outdoor fire lit was so relaxing. Vanessa was very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There was good parking some of it secure behind the gates. The location was good but if walking be warned some of the hills were very steep. Crossing the main road down to the beach area was also difficult with the fast traffic. Excellent restaurants a few minutes walk or by taxi. Overall we loved staying here and would recommend it.

Beautifully furnished Guest House, garden, pool and big terrace with fantastic sea view, in a quiet area. Warm welcome and lots of tips about the area, restaurants, and everything we wanted to know. Very nice breakfast with fruits, eggs, chees and everything. Free towels, chairs and parasols for the beach, Vanessa and her staff were super friendly. We were completely happy with this choice, thank you. Will definitely return when in SA.

Stayed here in September 2023. Weather was horrendous but Vanessa and her lovely staff really looked after us even drying our clothes and towels . Nothing was too much trouble . Place is just like the photos , spotlessly clean and the views are breathtaking we could watch the whales from our room the following morning when the weather was better . The building is very secure and we used taxis at night again recommended by Vanessa and felt safe getting around .Would recommend. Would recommend.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Ocean Watch Guest House at the end of January and loved our stay. Our room was so comfy and cosy, the staff were so friendly (especially Vanessa who made us feel very welcome!) and our breakfast was delicious! The view of the beach from the pool was stunning. We will be recommending this hotel to all our friends and family and will definitely be retuning so that we can stay for at least two nights here as we loved it so much! Thank you again for an amazing time!

We stayed here for 2 nights, but would like to have stayed longer in this beautiful area. Vanessa and the other staff were very friendly, the facilities were really good and very clean, and breakfast was lovely. What sets it apart is the lovely outdoor lounge area- there are beautiful views of the sunrise over the bay. Also facilities to cook a braai in this outdoor space, which if we had stayed longer we definitely would have taken advantage of! Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view- especially watching the dolphins on our second morning there.

Well what can I say - an absolutely amazing place to stay - so relaxed - amazing staff - The views over the bay were great. The accommodation was clean , pristine and comfortable. The facilities were second to none. We made use of the braai. We loved this place and Vanessa and her team were lovely.

Great view, we would definitely recommend booking the Shell Room. You can see dolphins jumping in the ocean while lying in the bed.

We stayed in the Captains Cabin for two nights and wished we had booked longer. Great views from the room and also the outside areas. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. Great breakfast. Just a short walk to the restaurants and shops. The staff were amazing, Vanessa was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, helped us sort out a physio appoin**ent and offered to book restaurants. Would definitely rebook if travelling to Plettenberg again.

Fabulous property with superb views. Magic brekkie. Brilliant staff and the owner is really welcoming and helpful. Parking easy and very good location. Will go there for longer next time. Enjoyed the entire experience
