What a disappointment for the high price paid - everything about the place was tenth-rate - parking, the sloth pace of the check-in staff (only one desk manned with a queue of 30 Americans waiting), the cramped oom with its lousy view, the mediocre breakfast buffet, the badly-trained wait staff, the surly concierge and the never-to-be-seen attended Guest Relations desk. Just one bright spot - the barman in the ground floor bar was an absolute gem.
Accor's standards have gone down precipitously in the past few years, to the point where it's a waste of time belonging to its guest program and a waste of money to stay at ANY of its hotel brands.
