Staff was great; maintenance was nonexistent. Health and safety code violations galore. I would be surprised if it passed its annual safety inspection, and would be interested to know who conducted it with Palestine FD/City of Palestine.

Rented a room for 2 nights. We arrived late like almost midnight. We get in the bathroom didn’t look like it had been swept or mopped there was hair all over the floor. The toilet didn’t flush since it was late we waited til the morning to let them know. We called up there twice in the morning got back to the room still not fixed. I went to the office asked if I could use the restroom and the lady was rude. She said do you not have one in your room? To which I responded I do and the toilet isn’t flushing and we have called it in. Her attitude totally changed. We leave and come back again pretty late, still not working so I go back to the front and demand another room. The young man working didn’t understand what was going on. I had to explain that the toilet wasn’t flushing and I needed another room. He gives me keys to another room. At this point we are exhausted. In the morning I go ask for a late checkout and he says 11:00 which is normal checkout time. I leave a number for the manager to call me back because I was extremely upset about the whole situation for a refund for a night, a discount something and no call received!

Checking in was easy. Room wasn’t clean. Didn’t have toilet paper in room at all. Had to go ask front desk for some. Bathroom was dirty. Wash cloths were stained and nasty. Carpet in room dirty. This was a last resort as other hotels were booked.

Was water and hair in the shower still and there was also trash in the can when we arrived. Comforter had a stain. Was one of the nastiest hotels I have ever stayed in. Will not be back!

It was good tell Sunday morning when a guy came around at 7 am banging on the door saying house keeping when I was sleep it would been fine if he would have done it at like 9 am but that all the problems I had and the tub had not beware clean

The light fixtures were dusty, the bathtub was nasty had to clean before taking a shower and theres boards sticking out from under the mattress from closes to the bathroom

I would like a refund in full for the stay. It was unclean, staff did not get me the right room and we walked into some people when we opened the door. We did not stay the night.

My stay was great once it was worked out. I called 2 days prior to my trip to make sure I could be booked in a downstairs room. I was told that my room was changed to a downstairs room and it was not a problem at all to accommodate that request. When I arrived on Friday I was not in a down stairs room. The very kind lady working had to changey room again to a downstairs but there were changes that had to be made as I booked a king room. When I drove around to my room there was no parking and as a female traveling alone it is unnerving to park and walk across the parking lot to a room in the middle of several men hanging out on a Friday night enjoying their night. Luckily she realized that there was another room available closer to the office. I appreciated her very much for moving me to a location where it was quiet as I had to be up early and really wanted to sleep. I know working men deserve a night to relax after a long week and have a good time, but I was exhausted and didn't want to have to deal with trying to sleep while they were having a good time. So it worked out due to the amazing staff paying attention to the fact that I traveled alone and the location of the room that I was given wasn't ideal. You can never be too safe these days. Oh and breakfast at the cafe was amazing. Service was quick and good was home style cooking good.

Not enough towels in the room for 4 people. But the beds were very comfortable.
