パリーサンドレ コート ウエスト(Hotel **** Palissandre Cote Ouest)

Palissandre is a beautiful hotel with great amenities and perfect location for both a relaxing few days and to visit the Alée of Baobabs of *****dava. Staff is particular friendly, smiling and helpful. Special shout out to Hony at the reception for also sorting out our flights issues. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Barefoot chic bungalows on the sand with ocean views. The bungalows have AC, tv, and solar heated water. The hotel has 2 lovely pools and a small spa. We had very good massages. Wifi is good but only available in reception, dining and pool area. The hotel has a nice shop with high-quality local products. The food is good, but it's a fixed 3 course meal for dinner ( generally a fish or meat main choice). Breakfast has European style buffet with omelets .

I stayed here for two nights and would have loved to stay longer. Great location on the beach, and the common areas are nicely spread out and comfortable. Each room is an individual hut with an outdoor sitting area and spacious bathroom. As someone who gets eaten by mosquitos, I especially appreciate mosquito net surrounding the bed and the evening mosquito spraying of the room. The staff was lovely and the meals were delicious. Travelling around Madagascar, you quickly realize nice/comfortable hotels are few and far between, so this place is quite a treat!

I certainly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was courteous and accomodating. My room was comfortable. I thought that the food in the restaurant was good as well. This hotel is also near the Rue de Baobabs.

Such a great place! Lovely staff, food and room. Very comfy bed and large room with heaps of space and a massive bathroom. We only had one night here but the sunset was magical. Would recommend staying here, they really know how to make you feel welcome!

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location, right next to the beach. Rooms are spacious and even though they're a bit basic, they have everything you need for a comfortable stay and are much better than I would have expected in this part of the world! We only stayed for one night and felt like we could have done a second night to enjoy the beach and facilities and also to explore the local town a bit more. Food was good (not amazing, but again, you have to put it into perspective...) and service was very friendly. Overall, a very nice stay!

The PCO Resort is delightful. Of course it is quite simple, but super clean, well maintained and it offers everything you need. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the service impeccable. Here are a few details about the resort: ROOMS: Large, comfortable beds. And by far the best mosquito nets we've had in a hotel in years. In a country like Madagascar, an invaluable advantage. FOOD: A manageable breakfast buffet with no real variety, but perfectly adequate. In the evening there is a set menu with 1 choice. We were really surprised about the quality of the food.. BEACH: World class at low tide! When the sea retreats at low tide, it exposes a huge sandbank of the finest, firm, clean sand on which you can take beautiful walks for miles. At high tide, however, the beach is rather mediocre. TIP: If possible, book your stay on days when the tide is low between 10:00 and 16:00 (see a tide calendar). It is really worth it. POOL: 2 large pools with lovely clear, cool water. WIFI: Only in the reception and bar area. Sometimes it works well, sometimes not so well - and sometimes it fails completely. Then you have to switch to the existing 4G/LTE mobile network. CONCLUSION: We did not expect the PCO Resort to be so beautiful. You can spend a wonderfully relaxing time here. We can highly recommend it.

My friend booked our entire trip, so I had no idea about this place. After a long drive we made it just before dark. The staff was so friendly and greeted us with a green drink. We were booked for 1 night, but enjoyed it so much, we booked 2 more nights on our way back from Tsingy. Everyone always had a smile on their face and were on top of anything you needed. The food was included and we enjoyed every meal. They even had take away breakfast for us the morning of check out as we had an early flight. I would recommend staying here for at least a couple days. You can walk on the beach, watch the sunset, take a tuc tuc into town, or just relax around the resort. And for anyone who has to work, the internet was the best we found in Madagascar, but you do have to sit in the lobby bar area.

Given some mixed reviews, and the high cost (around 150 euros per night) compared to other properties in *****dava, I hesitated before booking the Pallisandre, but it was wonderful and worth every Euro, particularly as the rate included breakfast and lunch or dinner. The property is large, beautifully designed and very well kept. The large wooden bungalows are well spaced along the beach and shaded with pine trees. Request one facing directly to the sea. Rooms have good AC, comfy beds, hot showers, safe boxes and TVs with Canal Plus and BBC news. Wifi works only in the lobby / pool / restaurant area, but this helps you unplug and relax. I spent hours on my terrace reading and watching the fishing boats going out to sea. The staff were all extremely friendly and kind. From Victor on reception, who was so helpful when I was sick, to the lovely waiters and housekeeping ladies. They made the stay a real pleasure. Food was very good, I'm sure the best in *****dava. Note however that this is not a beach resort in the normal sense. There is no private hotel beach, in fact the shoreline is a bit of a walk away across low sand dunes and the beach is not very clean. The pool areas make up for this though, with 2 large, very clean pools, which at most times you will almost have to yourself. Having checked out a couple of the other beach-side options in town, I can say that the Pallisandre is in a totally different league. You will not regret staying here. Highly recommended.
