Overnight stay only when visiting temple. Very nice room with everything we needed. Good room service and brilliant staff. Wish we could have stayed longer and would certainly stay again if in the area.

Très bon hôtel de type colonial vieillot avec beaucoup de charme. Bien sûr il n’est plus dans le coup sur quelques détails comme l’information inexistante (horaires, menus resto, room service, cours de yoga ) Le resto le soir est en buffet pas mal mais ferme tôt. Mais bien

Stayed here as part of hotel used by Great Rail Journies tour operator. Absolutely disgusting. Dirty room, dirty bed linen and cushions, broken window, fridge didn’t work (not that it mattered as it was empty), dirty toilet and towels with holes in them. This is DEFINITELY not a 4-star hotel. I’d barely give it a 1-star. Asked to move rooms to be told hotel is full. Other people on same tour as me staying here have commented the same. Avoid at all costs.

A wonderful place Inside a calm large garden. Helpful and friendly stuff. A Great place to stay!!!! Watch out for the architecture of Great Geoffrey Bawa and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere around the lobby, pool and gardens. Especially the Rooms with their own small and private Pool are Highlight you Should join, whenever possible.

Heritage Madurai lives up to its name, effortlessly blending modern elegance with a captivating historical ambiance. The lobby area exuded a peaceful old world charm and a delightful touch was witnessing a garland maker weaving fragrant flower garlands for the welcome of hotel guests. During my stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing the opulence of the 'Luxury Plunge Pool Villa'. The spacious room boasted tasteful wooden furnishings, complemented by a generously sized bathroom. However, the true highlight was undoubtedly the expansive plunge pool, offering a serene oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation. Throughout the property, there are maintained green oases, accentuated by majestic banyan trees that added a touch of natural splendor. While I only had breakfast during my visit, it was regrettably the least impressive aspect of my stay. The restaurant space felt cramped, struggling to accommodate all guests adequately. Furthermore, the state of the chairs left much to be desired, they were really dirty! :/
