ソネスタ ホテル ロハ(Sonesta Hotel Loja)

When my husband and I arrived at this hotel we were greeted by Romina at the front desk. Romina was absolutely incredible! She recommended a great local restaurant and hailed us a cab. Romina arranged for our laundry to be done even though it was after 1 o’clock on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t cheap, but was worth the splurge. The included breakfast was excellent and included an omelet station. The hotel has no A/C or heat which seems to be typical in Equador. A ceiling fan would be a nice addition.

A very warm welcome from the efficient staff, clean airy reception. Rooms spacious, glorious large beds, beautiful hot shower, views over downtown Loja which was pretty busy the night we stayed! Restaurant on 4th floor was possibly an extension after hotel was built - during a torrential downpour as we ate, there were quite a few leaks above our heads! Suggest summoning the architect to sort out the problem (roof material used)?

I would stay again. It was a little loud due to an event. Also we had to ask for towels at the pool several times.

There was a loud event that went on all night super loud. We complained and asked for a different room they showed us one that was worse. The hotel was not full and they could have given us a room in the back away from the noise, instead of showing us a worse one.

Nice hotel, friendly staff.

The hotel itself is very nice and pleasant. The view from the upper rooms is unbeatable and a big plus is the amazing staff and the great food. I had a great stay and wish I was able to stay longer.

The place nice but the hotel must explain all taxes are not included because when I check in they told me that I need to pay an extra fee

Awesome service and delicious buffet breakfast. The parking is a lot difficult to access.

The property was very nice and very close to the center of town where we walked to. Lots of sites to see in the area
