My wife and I stayed at the hotel and loved every second of our stay. The hotel is ideally situated for the Victoria Falls and is situated within the national park so you see giraffes, impala’s, monkeys and zebra’s around the grounds. The staff are very attentive, our butler Kennedy was always on hand to assist us. Other members of staff such as Chola, Dorothy and Lupendo made our stay memorable and pleasant and we can’t wait to return for our next visit.

2nd visit disappointing. The greeting from the dancers at the entrance is too delightful for words!! A welcome of note!! Then a man dressed in an African Outfit ushered us to a table with a drink for registration. He was kind enough to book a table for dinner and let us know that is we need anything we just need to dial 9 for our ‘butler’ !! We duly went for dinner .. I sent my fish back was inedible my husband’s meal was also 2nd rate. Breakfast was magnificent with an opulent display and choice. After a booze cruise and highly recommended, we ordered a toasted sandwich in the bar as the Terrace restaurant was fall. The bar is reminiscent of times gone by beautifully appointed and to add to the ambiance a pianist with amazing talent. But this bar was empty of guests for our entire 3 day stay. I remember the music and dancing last time we were there, it was such a vibe!!! The bedrooms are well appointed and our ‘butler’ reminded us that we just needed to call and he would be there to sort out any problems. TV did not work.. butler told us he would need to get maintenance the next day which never happened! In the morning we had a new ‘butler’ the spray bottle for mosquito repellent was not spraying. She never brought a replacement! The man in the bright African garb was there every morning doing what he does, delegating everything to our ‘butler’. This is not a cheap holiday for South Africans and therefore there is an expectation. Unfortunately The Royal Livingstone Hotel is just not the same and overpriced in comparison. We had a great dinner at the Terrace restaurant as a finale… don’t bother to book at the fine dinning restaurant the food and views are a lot better. Two things to do are Devils pool and an up close and personal experience with feeding elephants.

The location is breathtaking as well as the facilities. The breakfast is delicious. However, the service is unorganized. There are many workers but it seems like they lack organization thus everything takes long. I waited 30 minutes every single morning for a week to get a cappuccino to go. Th check in and checkout took time and when we were leaving additional charges without explanation were placed. The taxis they provide cost more than it you were to call them on your own. For the money it costs, the service should be better organized.

This property is gorgeous and the rooms are well-appointed. It has a high price point but you get the value back in the efforts of the staff, the grounds, and the proximity to both Victoria Falls and the wildlife. The staff here are among the best I have ever experienced and did not hesitate to make every attempt to improve my stay.

We stayed here in a group of 8 friends. We all loved the hotel and the friendly staff. The restaurant was beautiful however the food variety could be a bit more varied. Overall a fantastic hotel.

Incredible service from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. The grounds and views are so beautiful and how many places have zebras and giraffes roaming around ourstide your hotel room? Where else could you sip a gin and tonic by the Zambesi river and watch hippos? Easy walking distance to the Victoria Falls. We ate within the hotel grounds and never got bored with the choices available. Comfortable and beautiful rooms with evrything you could want.

BEST EXPERIENCE. From the start we loved the hotel due to its arquitecture and design. The staff were very attentive throughout the stay. We used all the extras included in our romantic getaway package and the spa was especially amazing. Rut and Precious were our therapists and we ended up soo relaxed and happy, just what we needed. We also loved the animals running free, the dinners on the riverfront deck, the romantic cruise at sunset. And the helicopter ride was just perfect. Everything exceeded my expectations. It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I would recommend it 100%. THANK YOU

Wundervolles Hotel direkt an den Victoria Falls. Das Hotel selbst beeindruckt durch seinen afrikanischen Aussstattungsziel und seinen traumhaften Aussenbereich . Zebras und Giraffen sind am Hotelgelände keine Seltenheit . Eines der Highlights ist definitiv den Sonnenuntergang mit einem Drink und dem Rauschen der Victoria Falls zu genießen
