コー ジュム オーシャン ビーチ リゾート(Koh Jum Ocean Beach Resort)

This resort is overpriced in comparison to other Koh Jum resorts. The resort is located on a hillside with over 200 steps to get from the road to the reception at sea level. To get to the resort you must travel along a dirt road which is rutted, steep in places and strewn with small rocks. Taxi is the best way to get here and if you choose to hire a scooter take extreme care on this road. I stayed here for 3 nights and found the lacotion to be peacful. The cottages are set up the hillside in a well established area of trees. The resort shows many signs of needing maintenance, probably stemming from the COVID closure of over 2 years. However, the two resorts nearby are much better maintained. The food at the resort is average, I ate dinner here each night, but the breakfast is unacceptable for the price you pay. Very poor selection of items. If you are looking to stay in one place for your stay, prepared to put up with the run down nature of the resort then this is a great place to unwind. If not, and you want to explore the island and go to different cafes etc. I suggest staying somewhere else. There are monkeys here but they did not cause me any trouble. The pool is a good size but with clear signs of algae growing on the walls. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi is not good at all and certainly not high speed. I take into account that Koh Jum is a very uncommercialised island but this resort needs to do better.

We had an absolutt wonderful stay at this resort. The hotel team took great care of us, and both the food and the beach location was brilliant. We stayed at row 1 and 2 on the beach and it was perfect!

I was at this resort in 2019 and it was amazing - it's still fabulous but the property could do with some TLC (been closed for two years due to Covid) the rooms are gorgeous but make sure you get a room close to the beach as it's a very steep climb to the top. Great service, good food and the beach is beautiful. Views straight over to Phi Phi.

Hi , I would like to leave an honest review of this resort, I travelled with a group of nine of us two family's with kids all over the age of ten. Firstly the resort is in a beautiful location off the beaten track with a stunning backdrop, we arrived by longboat directly to the resort from the mainland after a stay in Koh Lanta. The resort overall does not unfortunately represent any value for money, It's disappointing as many other resorts seem to thrive in similar situations. The breakfast was nothing short of unacceptable, a very poor selection of food so we decided to eat next door and pay for it. The same goes across the board for this resort , Its has super potential and with good management it would be a great place to stay. Hopefully the future will bring its potential.

This resort had recently re opened after 2 years during COVID . The staff and catering were very satisfactory considering the resort had fallen in complete disrepair with wild monkeys,dangerous walkways, electrical connections etc, no apparent health and safety, deshevelled buildings power cuts and roads impassable to the extent we had to wade out into the sea to be able to leave.

Construction noise in Hotel all day and until 2 am at night, which made it inpossible to relax at all. We weren't informed beforehand, which should be the bare minimun!Hotel overall in a really bad shape. No Wifi working in room, hardly working in public ares. Room wasn't cleaned once during a 4 night stay, water not refilled e.g. Breakfast is really bad! You get slices of toast and sausage, excpexted alot more for the price. Also, breakfast is promoted a different way on homepage and ***********. Room very filthy and smelled musty. Check in staff very unpleasant, nothing was explained and we felt like a burden when we asked for Wifi password, breakfast hours e.g. There are better options in Koh Jum, do not choose this Hotel.

The Ocean beach resort must be one of the greatest places on earth to relax. The friendly staff, the great food and perfect location makes for a lovely stay. When the tide hits the swimming is perfect and if you want to take a trip with the canoe there are plenty to rent/borrow. We had the "family" villa which was perfect for our family of four. There are a lot of stairs but no problems for us. Everyone in the staff did everything to makes us feel at home during our 3 nights stay. We'll be ack!

Wer nicht komplett enttäuscht werden will, sollte hier auf keinen Fall buchen. Zu allererst: Der für die Gäste zuständige ‚Manager‘ namens Khao verspricht ganz viel und behält am Ende das ihm nicht zustehende Geld für sich. Wir haben ihn mehrmals kontaktiert und bis heute unser Geld nicht zurück bekommen! Dazu kommt: Die Anlage ist dreckig, marode und total heruntergekommen. Wir haben eine Honeymoon Villa gebucht und einen muffige, dunklen, dreckigen Bungalow ohne Liegen erhalten. Im Bad fanden wir ganze Haarbüschel schwarzer Haare (wir sind beide blond) vor einer Badewanne die garantiert seit 2 Jahren nicht mehr geputzt wurde. Dazu kam tagsüber ständiger Stromausfall und eine abgesperrte Strasse, sodass wir das Resort nicht mal mehr verlassen konnten. Der Pool Bereich ist wirklich widerlich, ebenso wie die Terrasse vor der Bar. Möglichkeiten (wie auf den Bildern) zum Liegen am Strand gibt es nicht, denn es sind keine Liegen vorhanden. Aber wie gesagt: das Unmöglichste an der ganzen Unterkunft ist einfach Khao, der so wahnsinnig freundlich tut.
