ホテル キルケニー(Hotel Kilkenny)

It was a lovely room very big. You must put the tag on the door handle if you want your room cleaned daily. I wasn’t aware of that information so my room wasn’t cleaned.

Perfect place to stay for families. Nice swimming pool for kids and excellent food.

Had a lovely stay, bar was nice, breakfast set us up for a jice day in kilkenny each day. Would visit again.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and courteous staff. Great food in the bar/restaurant. Easy walk to Kilkenny town center.

Rooms need an update and the property needs to provide more basics in the room like glasses. The only glasses were 2 coffee mugs.

The hotel was fine, but it is not central…, it’s a good 15/20 mins walk from the town centre. It’s clean and comfortable and the pool and gym are a bonus. Only the pub area was open for dining and the food was reasonable but the breakfast was not quite so good.

We arrived on a Friday night in September for a 1 night stay. We should have known it was was going to be a bad night when they they never texted us to tell us our room was ready. There happened to be a wedding reception (more than one) in progress when we arrived. We were tired so we ate at the hotel. Big mistake. The worst food we had in Ireland, hands down. Regardless, we just wanted a good night sleep and continue our vacation to our next destination. Just as we were going to sleep, at 11pm we could hear from our room loud music, literally pounding in our room. I called the desk and they told me that the music would end at 12:00. When 12:39 came and the loud music continued, my wife went to the desk to complain. She requested that we get moved to another room in another part of the hotel. We ended up moving to a room at 12:30pm where the noise was inaudible. We finally managed to get some sleep. In general, the rooms are outdated, the food was awful and the service was horrible. The toilets in both rooms continue to run water after flushing. It clearly is waste of water. The rooms are outdated, bathrooms, electrical outlets, etc.

The location of the propriety is a mile within walking distance of pubs and attractions. Check in was later in afternoon and was told we would receive upgrades, only to discover the spacious rooms were on ground floor.

The property was very convenient. We were able to easily walk downtown. The staff was very helpful in showing us how to get around on a map. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet,
