We LOVED Isamar Hotel & staying on Isabela was our favorite part of our Galapagos trip! Juan, the owner of this small boutique hotel, was friendly, responsive and frequently onsite. We booked through Airbnb but then pre-arranged our tours and airport pickup through the hotel directly. The staff was amazing and made every part of our trip easy and wonderful. The breakfast buffet is included and I have food allergies (cannot eat wheat) and there was plenty for me to eat! Also, the staff was knowledgeable about allergies, told me exactly what I could have and they made me special meals in the restaurant for lunch & dinner. The pictures do not do this beautiful bnb justice! We walked every day through peaceful Puerto Villamil and down the beach right from our hotel room.

Very nice hotel on the beach. Polite and friendly staff. AC. Good WiFi. Restaurant is very good. Coffee and water all day. Main Street a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again. Great base for exploring Isabela Island which is amazing

It‘s a small and calm hotel directly to the beach. The rooms are clean with aircondition. The stuff is very friendly. There is also a restaurant, the food is very good and always fresh prepared. Free coffee and water is provided all over the day.

Great Hotel. There are few rooms, and the owner hosts it. Incredible service and excellent food. Perfect location at the beach. The staff was brilliant. Kudos to Eva and Jimmy, who were also guides. It is a quiet town but close to all the restaurants and docks. Fully recommended

All the staff were amazing. Our host Eva is to be commended for, her attention to details and making sure we had everything we needed. Only downside were a few ants in the bathroom area. I'm sure this is probably unavoidable given that nature does it thing in the Galapogas!

Best hotel we stayed at in Galapagos. Will comeback for sure, service from staff is excelent, they helped me book flights, tours and gave me outstanding tips to save money around the islands, complete staff on january 1st.

Our 4-night Chris**as stay at Isamar Hotel was simply splendid! From the warm welcome to the attentive staff, we felt genuinely cared for throughout. For anyone visiting Isabela, a beachfront hotel like Isamar is a must! The beachfront terrace was our go-to spot—comfy seating, shady umbrellas, and a charming bar serving up beers, wines, and delightful cocktails. And let's not forget their restaurant—offering healthy options and catering flawlessly to any dietary needs. They even prepared specially tailored meals for me after a slight illness from food on Santa Cruz Island—that level of thoughtfulness was incredibly touching. Isabela Island exploration made easy from this fantastic base. The staff assisted us in getting to know the best spots to visit on the island and organizing taxis. From Volcan Chico & Sierra Negra Volcano to the exhilarating snorkel tour to Tuneles and the serene afternoons at Concha de Perla—the hotel's strategic location was a huge plus. The rooms were a dream—spacious, pristine, equipped with all essentials: TV with international channels, roomy bathrooms with lovely amenities, comfy beds, and efficient air conditioning. They truly had everything for a fantastic stay on Isabela Island. And breakfast, a delightful buffet-style spread, was just the icing on the cake!

Beach side hotel with friendly staff, decent food and nice size rooms. Traveled with family of three to hike the volcano. Room faced the ocean, clean with queen and a single bed, good space. Sliding doors allowed for hearty ocean breeze. Literally ten steps to sand. Lunch was actually quite good. Front desk staff were so helpful
