The Hotel Was Amazing

Comfortable bed, clean rooms, the staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great and so is the dinner buffet. The gym has all you need and also a personal trainer if you want. The swimming pool is quite small but it looks clean and the terrace around is nice to chill during the day. In front of the hotel there is Maison H, you must try their ice creams or pastries.

We are not happy staying here as made a booking from May 2023 direct with the hotel, only to be told by Emmanuellle on 29th November that our room has been cancelled and given to some other people! We are now looking for places to stay in Douala.. not a great first impression of my first time in Cameroon and first time using La Falaise Bonapriso. Definitely will be not be back to book here again as there is no security you will have a room when it was confirmed directly by email from May 2023 when I was in Australia. Garga has been amazing in trying to help us, but to have our booking cancelled by Emmanuelle and no where to go and no compensation for cancelling our room and giving it to someone else is really bad customer service for such a prestigious hotel. Really has left a bad first impression on a place which was highly ranked. Not good Hôtel La Falaise Bonapriso

The hotel is located in the Bonapriso Area in Douala, a good and calme location. Many restaurants and services are around. The hotel serves a tasty Brunch every Sunday. The staff of hotel la Falaise are very professional and they give a lot of attention to serve the client in every detail. Keep the level and Thank you!

NOT first time in this hotel.. if you want to have wonderful service, please come to this hotel. from breakfast to sport center i can give high point to this hotel. Especially Mr Serge ( manager) give me a big confidence with his wonderful attitude. He knows how to please customers… he is very serious about success… also at reception Mr Cedric at reception wonderful, Mr Lionel consierge, Mr Bruno sport coach, Miss Diane at restaurant… these people are indeed special and wonderful… I will always stay here whenever i come to Douala Cameroon Pas la première fois dans cet hôtel. . si vous voulez avoir un service exceptionnel, venez dans cet hôtel. du petit-déjeuner au centre sportif, je peux donner un point culminant à cet hôtel. Surtout M. Serge (gérant) m'accorde une grande confiance avec sa merveilleuse attitude. Il sait faire plaisir aux clients… il est très sérieux au sujet du succès… aussi à la réception M. Cédric à la réception merveilleux, M. Lionel concierge, M. Bruno coach sportif, Mlle Diane au restaurant… ces gens sont en effet spéciaux et merveilleux… Je resterai toujours ici chaque fois que je viens à Douala Cameroun

The hotel location is good in the middle of Douala however the Hotel Restaurant is very bad ...the Plates are not clean and they keep used tools on the table (Dishes not well washed, used spoons!! And used Cups) And after Multiple complains ( 4 official complains to Restaurants manager) , the situation doesn’t improve (just improve for day or 2 then back to the same) ..so i decided to remove the breakfast from the reservation

Good reception and courteous concierges. Room service was timely. Spa treatment was impeccable and worth every penny. Room and amenities were clean. Breakfast was sumptuous. I will definitely be returning here some other time and will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This was my first time visiting Cameroon (as well as Douala) for business and I had a nice stay at La Falaise Bonapriso. The location was close to the Douala airport and it was in a safe area with a lot of restaurants and things to do nearby. The rooms were very nice. I think the only thing wrong was the refrigerator didn’t work. But the air conditioning was very nice. It would be nice to have more space in bathroom for toiletries and if you could offer conditioner to guests in addition to shampoo. The restaurant was great for breakfast and I had both buffet and plated meals for dinner. All food was good with lots of variety. I got to try some local foods which were all good. I would just recommend having signs in English/French for foods in buffet for foreign travelers. Most of the staff speaks English but if their English isn’t great then they will find someone else to help you. Overall, I received good service and would recommend.
