Stayed on my own as part of our conference. Room was good but not 5 star. The view from the room was stunning and the bed was amazing. The staff were friendly but not upfront helpful. Friendly but forthcoming. Breakfast was great, fast and the staff gave priority to seating at the best view on a first come basis which was a nice, considerate touch. The main reception area is beautiful with high timber ceilings with beams and a huge fire. I'd stay again although not that close to shops but Uber was reasonably available and fast.

Amazing. It was my birthday and they sent a bottle of wine to our room.

Our stay was enjoyable, the reason for the 4 was that one of the restaurants was closed for repairs. which in turn we had to leave to get dinner. Staff was nice and helpful, and the resort is beautiful. Breakfast at the resort is top notch. Thanks

Everything was great other than our experience at the hot tub. We went around 8:30 PM and there were four HS kids with some other people. The high school kids clearly broke into the pool area and were not staying at the hotel. They kept talking about what they wanted to do next and planned on going back to one kids parents house to get some things and keep partying. They made a mess of the jacuzzi area. When we were ready to leave we went to get towels and they were gone. I called the front desk and asked for me. The second more were brought, the high school kids took ALL of them. So, we called again and asked for more. After 15 minuets of waiting and no more towels, we decided to try to walk back to the hotel lobby to ask for some. We had to walk barefoot on the snow and ice because we didn’t want to put our shoes back on when we were soaking wet. This was not a fun experience at all.

I wanted to love this place but it just wasn't so. Services are limited in the winter despite still paying a resort fee, and the rooms feel not updated, old, and bathroom not in great condition. Our experience: Getting a dip in the indoor pool before dinner? Nope. Closes at 7pm. Getting a workout in before leaving for the day? Nope. Gym doesn't open until 7am. Getting a sauna? Nope, closed for construction. Getting a dip in the pool with the kids before we left? Nope, doesn't open until 10am. Getting in a quick shower? Nope, took forever just to get hot water. Again, if we visited in the summer it might have been spectacular. For the price and resort fee included, it was average I'd say.

Beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony. Enjoyed the hot tub & pool. Nice and quiet. Breakfast was good, but do recommend the cook-to-order options over the buffet items. Lovely location.

I was actually very excited to stay here. One, because it is considered a resort. Two, because the photos show beautiful grounds near the lake and mountain range views. Of course, location is gorgeous. However, the resort is severely outdated. The carpets were dirty, the bathroom had some black mold in some parts of the wall. The worst part, however, is food. One of the restaurants was closed for renovations. The other, and only, restaurant served food that was so terrible. Now, we are not fancy foodies, but we also do not eat fast food. We know good food, and we eat good food. Healthy, wholesome, tasty, well-prepared. And the food at this resort was neither. It was so bad that my child who LOVES meat, took a bite of the hamburger and said that she cannot eat it. I took two bites of tacos before realizing that pork was undercooked (which is a big no-no). My Mom only ordered an appetizer, and it was just disgusting. I don't remember what it was. Of course, we brought all this to the attention of staff. Yes, they comped the meal, which we did not eat, after some back and forth arguments that we should not be charged for something that is inedible. But, the experience was ruined. Positives: views, clean beds, quiet location, staff that was actually very nice, despite the negative experience with the food.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend for an event at the Broadmoor World Arena. The hotel is close, the rooms nice and the views and grounds are amazing. They have a good breakfast Buffett.
