This clean and tidy self catering cabin accomodation was perfect for two people. Adequate crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils to prepare meals. ****** is well positioned to access world heritage rainforest walks and explore both the Clarence and Richmond Valley small town delights. Recommend to budget traveller as safe and quiet location with shop and bakery across the road to replenish supplies.

Our cabin was filthy. Hairs all over the place and everything was dirty. Would not recommend this place.

Extremely genuine welcome from staff, who took the trouble to ensure the cabin would be cool on our arrival, alerted us to size of hot water heater and options available if insufficient for our needs, informed of willingness to be contacted after office hours should any issues arise. Personal invitation to an onsite BBQ for park residents and guests. Extremely clean linens and overall cabin presentation. Was comfortable, affordable and more than sufficient for our needs. Thank you to the staff for your welcome and pleasant demeanor

While the cabin was a little dated it was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. The man in the office was helpful and friendly. Would stay again.

My stay was for work and after driving a long way a good night sleep is always a top on the list. This was achieved as the room was relaxing, quiet and a nice soft bed to sleep really well

The Good: Great friendly helpful staff. Reasonably priced. The Bad: Roads round the park in need of repair. The Ugly: Be sure to avoid the eastern end of the park. Derelict looking caravans. Rubbish just laying around the sites. Uncontrolled dogs barking and defecating and domestic arguments occurring to top it off. Not sure why management hasn't acted to eliminate this situation as it will become a health hazard.

I will definitely be booking back into this place! Beds are soooo comfy! Ultra nice spot!

Suggestion. I didn't use the park amenities block so I have no idea if there were any disabled persons facilities in there. So this is only about my cabin. I've got a stuffed back and knees and had difficulty getting off the dunny. It's a common problem with old buggers like me. Anyway, could you have a look at the possibility of putting grab bars in the toilet area to assist with this problem. Also a grab bar in the shower cubicle to hang onto would be handy. Other than that, all good.

From what I can tell Cabin 4 has been half renovated? New flooring, new modern dining chairs but with an old table that has the laminate peeling off. Possibly new beds? with nice linen and new blinds on windows, 2 sets, one for privacy and one for night sunlight. very nice. Then there's the old bathroom, dripping shower, broken tile at bottom of shower door, vanity from the 80s, rusty cook top in kitchen, peeled off laminate on cupboard door, peeling/cracked paint on the walls and ceiling. and old kitchen cupboards and bench top & a lamp shade from the 80's (with a non working light) in the dining area. The room itself is spacious. modern air con in main area , and strangely an old air con in the bathroom (odd location).Office hours are currently restricted to 1pm-2pm due to COVID apparently, so I got my key out of the locked box. I'm only staying overnight so can't comment on the rest of the park just cabin No 4.Only enough room to park a car, no trailers/boats etc. Other cabins have a concrete slab for their car but cabin 4's parking spot is dirt tracks between a tree and the fire hose. 3 minute drive to Coles, Woolies and other shops, COVID form to fill out online before checking in, which I'm confused by as it's usually only medical centres these days that require that stuff. Haven't had it anywhere else on on my travels over 2 states. (shrugs) but it doesn't bother me just found it odd. Yes I would recommend this place, and yes I would stay here again. Lets hope the 2nd half of the cabin gets renovated to match the other half. Doing this review at 9.15pm and I must say the park is lovely and quiet, which I like and I tested out the bed, its comfy.
