ボレゴ スプリングス リゾート & スパ(Borrego Springs Resort and Spa)

The room was clean, everything worked, the spa was clean, and parking was right outside my room. No riff raff, trash, or graffiti on premises.

Spacious rooms, and good beds. Would prefer a resort that had decor and design that reflects the Spanish/Mex style of the region.

Comfy, large rooms, good beds, internet tv good. Restaurant on site friendly and good. I arrived in the dark, hard to find your way around for the first time.

When booking, and when looking at the pictures you provided, we thought we were going to be in a room where we would see either the sunset or sunrise right from our room or in the balcony area from our room. We get it that had we paid for a room that included this view, we could have it, but there was no indication that our room would have no view and would be dark and dingy. It was very disappointing. Also, we got no information about the pool or how we could access it. Having coffee available in the lobby in the morning was the only nice thing we could think of.

The lady at the front desk was very mean. I was traveling with my family and children. We reached the hotel at 1pm. The hotel was nearly empty when we reached there. So we were hoping to get an early check in, drop our luggage and head to the trails. The lady at the front desk said the check in time was 4 pm (the email I received said the check in was 3pm). She said our room is ready but if we want to check in before 4pm it would cost us an extra $30 as early check in fee. I am a frequent traveler and I have travelled extensively with my family for the last 20 years but never experienced early check in fee if my room is ready and the hotel is nearly empty. I can understand and I have paid a late check out fee but never heard of early check in fee when the room is ready and the hotel is nearly empty. Obviously I did not pay the extra $30. We left for the trail and returned after 4pm for checking into our room. The rooms in this hotel are dated with old furniture. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.There are better options available in this area and I will never stay again at this hotel.

We love coming here because the resort is pet-friendly and relaxing. During our most recent stay in a room with two queen beds, the mattresses were a little too firm for me (perhaps newer & not broken in yet; not sure.) As a side sleeper, it made it difficult to get comfortable, but it was manageable for a 2-night stay. The pool area is nice, on-property restaurant is convenient, and overall, we had a very nice stay.

Bed a place to stay overnight after hiking and exploring. Did its job. I didn't use any of the amenities so I can't speak to that

A great place to escape and enjoy the quiet. Friendly, fun service. Furnishings are a little dated but overall very clean and a great deal for the price.

We like our room, 2nd floor with balcony. The room is spacious for two queen beds. Has small fridge and coffee bar with microwave. The bathroom is roomy. However, the shower switch didn’t work quite right, the water couldn’t go all into shower head, a lot still came out from the lower facet. The watch sink stop didn’t work right, waste water drained slowly. The staff are friendly and great locations.
