Great location to view the northern lights as long as there are clear skies! Services are not the best as they don’t really have restaurant that you can just step in to eat. A rental car will be great to move from places to places to eat and explore.

Fla**oen Natural is a wonderful place to visit but an absolute treasure of a place to stay. Our cabin was cosy, modern and well equipped with incredible views in all directions (including skywards!). Having our own hot hub was an amazing way to unwind after our daily adventures in the surrounding area. For added relaxation we used the brand new sauna (you book a 2-hour block for private use) which is an undiscovered gem with its own panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Johnny delivered a delicious home-cooked breakfast to our cabin every morning which we enjoyed while taking in the spectacular scenery. Some people may prefer an on-site restaurant but this was a daily delight before starting our day. On our last evening we joined the Northern Lights sleigh tour experience from the farm. We were guided on a memorable trip by Leo who was very knowledgable about the farm, the horses and the local area and people. We were not lucky enough to see the Lights on our trip but had an amazing time nonetheless, sharing stories around the fire while Leo cooked us a delicious meal in the open air. Would thoroughly recommend Fla**oen Natur as a destination that combines a touch of luxury with the beauty and tranquility of Finnmark and the warmest of welcomes from Johnny and Levi.

Our Fla**one Natur stay was amazing. The little cabin was very cozy. Having our own hot tub after full days of backcountry skiing and other artic activities was great. Levi and his father were both so welcoming and happy to assist with any needs we had. We had a rental car which made getting to and from town very easy (about 10 to 15 min drive). Very close to Holmen Husky and Glod explorer, which bith had many outdoor activities to partake in. We did the sleigh ride and dinner one night and had a wonderful time with the owner. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a winter adventure!

This place is superb. Stunning new cabins with jacuzzi. Views to the sun set and overlooking to the horse fields. Beautifull farm ranch just minutes away from the alta city. Western style feeling. Next time need to try their horse safaris.😁 Try it and love it.

Peaceful and Beautiful place. Grrat place to watch Auroras!

Words cannot describe the beauty, the hospitality, and the comfort of this place. Johnny and his team have provided the perfect Northern Lights and Nature Cabin setting. Unlike most reviews and sites, the pictures don't do justice. My wife and I were immediately greeted bu Johnny where he was on the horse farm. He took us the the cabin, set us up, make sure we had plans for dinner (we did not so he helped with that as well), and brought us an AMAZING Homemade breakfast. It's only a 15 min cab ride from the Alta Airport. The cabin is newly constructed, warm., cozy and quiet. This was THE HIGHLIGHT of our Norwegian trip. If I could give 10 stars I would. Come to Fla**oennatur you will NOT be disappointed.

This property and our stay here was nothing short of pure magic. The cabin was so cozy, private, and well stocked. The jacuzzi right on the deck was the best addition. We saw the northern lights 2 nights in a row and viewing them sitting in the tub was a dream come true. We also saw the lights right over head while laying in the very comfy bed looking out the sky lights. The farm is a winter wonderland and highly recommend taking a sleigh ride with Johnny! He is incredibly friendly and takes a lot of pride in his farm and animals. Don’t skip his breakfast either, those pancakes and bacon were amazing with that perfect homemade touch. We didn’t want to leave and have already planned to come back next year to stay longer. This farm will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for a wonderful experience we won’t soon forget. Give the horses some extra pets from us. We miss you all so much already! 10 out of 5 stars!!!

Everything was spectacular

Alta was by far one of our best experiences ever all made because of the wonderful Levi and Jonny at Fla**oen. From the lodges to the sleigh ride and dinner around the camp fire with the most wonderful food and horse riding the next day. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough and look forward to returning. The lodges where beautiful inside and out. Warm and cosy, with the most amazing hot tub and views. Breakfast was the best I had ever. Look forward to returning.
