Bantianju Hostel

The views from this hotel is breathtaking! It is surrounded by tianmen mountain, so is very convenient for a trip to this popular Scenic spot. The food in the restaurant is delicious and of a very high quality. This restaurant also serves imported red and white wine which was a wonderful surprise for us! The room and facilities are very comfortable and clean. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again when we return to Zhangjiajie!

One word for this place, amazing!! Amazing place and amazing hosts I decided to stay Ia bit further from the city chaos and I haven't made mistake. Hostel is located 30 minutes walk or 7 minutes by car from the cable car, and 10 minutes by car from airport and train station as well in very quite part of the city. Hosts left the biggest impression on me . From the first memento hosts welcomed me very warm and with suggestions what I should visit during my stay. They were more then willing to help me with whatever I needed during my stay. Room itself was very good , neat and big with the view on Tianmanshan. You can also have a very nice breakfast for reasonable price. If I come back in Zhangjiajie I will definitely stay only here. Thank you very much for your hospitality and great time!

Our host was friendly and surprisingly picked us up from the train station! She was most helpful in planning the rest of our trip, helping source tickets and just general advice. The room was on the top floor had a stunning view of the mountians, fields and the airport runway. It was a very pleasant stay.

A great guesthouse with stunning views of Tianmen mountain. rooms are spacious, comfortable, well appointed and clean while service is detailed and always with a smile. The location is a little close to the airport which could disturb light sleepers, but otherwise the facilities and atmosphere make for a great stay in Zhangjiajie.

Very easy to find, 5 to 10 minutes in a taxi from the airport. The host was so friendly and helpful. She offered us a more spacious room on arrival with a fantastic view of Tianmen mountain. The restaurant had a good menu, very tasty and reasonably priced. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. I would recommend to anyone who wants to be away from the hustle and bustle of Zhangjiajie city and close to the nature of Tianmen mountain.

Wonderful host who went above and beyond. Fetched us from the airport and drove us to Tianmen mountain cable car, then collected us again to go to the hotel. Stayed in the panoramic suite. Very nice room. We didn’t eat at the restaurant at the hotel but it’s very well located to other places in the city. And very close to the airport and Tianmen mountain cable car.

A beautifully decorated hostel, super food, in summer maybe a bit loud because meeting places are just outside the bedrooms. If you are a train aficionado you will love it here. They run the whole night and honk enthusiastically their horns. Only five minutes away from tianmen shan.
