Travelodge Northampton Wootton

The travel lodge at Wooton was on the outskirts of the town near the m1 motorway The decor is very run down a side door with broken glass and a ****y path greets you on your approach from the car park. The room was comfortable the bed very comfortable. Shower was fine coffee tea avaliable in room. We arrived at 2.00am but not a problem as a lovely girl called Monique I believe sorted us out on arrival letting us use her mobile phone as we had a problem to sort out. Her warm welcome was very much appreciated I asked for an ironing board and iron in the morning again no problem from another female member of staff. Stayed two nights and again was helped by the male receptionist to order a taxi which to Luton Airport had to be booked over the phone this gentleman made the call through his phone. The Toby restaurant annexed to the hotel was also in need of decor refresh bathrooms particularly bad smell. Only instant coffee available with water from an old boiler type of thing really out dated. Should be made clearer that you have to order from the bar section and pay in advance before going to get your breakfast.!!! Overall OK for the money staff excellent let down by the decor and in need of a cleaning modern upgrade. Location would require a car as about 5 miles from northampton Town centre

It was very friendly and a great welcome the receptionist (Charlotte) was funny and made me laugh I like that I had a bad day and she made my day after the day I had I much different go back and tell my family and friends about this hotel and it was very and clean the bed was very and comfortable to sleep in

It’s really a wonderful team.Especially the home manager Dawn and Housekeeper susan,there are really amazing.There hospitality really makes me and my family happy,Specially my child,They take care of my child and that was really really amazing.

We were kindly greeted by Debbie at the reception. She has been nothing but helpful throughout our situation with our Ferry cancellations. She made everything run so smoothly over the 4 days of staying here! Rooms have plenty of space and beds are comfortable. Overall everything was perfect, great location. But Debbie was our life saver! THANK YOU DEBBIE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The stay at the hotel is always pleasant and stress free from checking in all the way through to checking out if anything is needed the reception staff a lady called Charlotte and another called Debbie are always willing to help any way they can. Will definitely stay again.

My stay was nice a comfortable stay they was two Debbie and Charlotte made my stay nice and warm and helped me every time I needed something as I have been here for over a two months And I will come back at the end of the year to stay again on my next next stay

Charlotte and Debbie are the most helpful and proficient reception staff I have encountered and Travel Lodge are very fortunate to have them in their employ. Nothing is too much trouble from room allocation to helping me with my luggage through the doors.

clean, comfy room, quiet place to get a good nights sleep. staff are all lovely, Charlotte is very kind and goes out her way to help and make our stay comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who would want to stay in the Northampton area. thankyou

Really tired & dirty hotel. Stains everywhere, every surface you touched was is need of a thorough clean. Luckily we were only staying for one night otherwise I would walked straight back out. We were part of a large family group and we were all in agreement that the hotel was filthy. Some of our group were even checked into there room that the bed had not been made. In need of total refurbishment. The Toby Carvery next door was even worse. Avoid both.
