Hotel staff was outstanding, good value for money and great downtown location.

Our first room looked as if someone slept in the bed. The 2nd room you can see the dust layer on the side tables, we were provided w two towels one had make up on it. I just expected better from a hotel that charges almost $200 a night

There was confusion with check in and almost made us re book a new night. There was also no parking near by had to park 1 block away. During my stay I was woken up at 7am with kids running down the hallway slamming doors. Arrived at 3am so rest was needed. Regret staying here.

Overall the hotel was nice and our room was spacious and clean. However, we arrived in the pouring rain and did not realize that the hotel has no onsite parking and valet parking is the only option. When I called to inquire about parking the lady I spoke to was not very helpful. We had to double park halfway in the road and unload our own luggage in the downpour. There was no overhang and we were drenched. Once checked in, we went to our room where there was neither a microwave or a mini fridge. I inquired about a refrigerator (which I cannot ever remember having a hotel room that did not come equipped with one) and was told that they are only on request and none were available.

Overall, fantastic experience. From the check-in to the valet parking, everyone extremely friendly. The room was very spacious with very nice finishes. Extremely comfortable bed. We will definitely be back!

This is a good hotel. There aren’t many options in Winston- Salem downtown, but I felt like this was one of the best in that context and was happy to stay there. Nice staff, decent breakfast, and clean room. Unfortunately, we were placed in a room by the elevator, so had to endure a lot of noise over the weekend.

Property apparently under-staffed on weekend. Had to seek out staff at front desk and coffee bar after 7 AM. Parking was inconvenient. No soap in shower. Property clean and otherwise as convenient as expected but wouldn’t stay again.

First off, good luck at finding somewhere to park to check in here. It was awful. Next the employee at check in was too rushed and rude. We needed ice and asked another employee where it was available. She suggested the bar, so we went there first. The bartender that evening was "extremely rude"! We did eventually get ice, only available on one floor. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable! The building is historic and they have tried to save that. Overall, work on staff and parking and it would be worth every penny.

The hotel itself is amazing. Rooms are beautiful, staff is great, lobby is wonderful, and the bar/restaurant is fantastic. I do hope that the outside construction that the city is doing picks up speed and the transient population is kept under control. Could turn into a great walkable location.
