Lovely hosts and an absolutely beautiful historic property. Quiet, clean, and comfortable in a great location.

Well, the bar is set rather high for future Bed and Breakfast experiences, as this was our very first BnB adventure! We are absolutely sold on this concept. Our accommodations were cozy and lovely. We do not drink, but the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. The common areas are well.appointed, and we look forward to coming back in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor space. The breakfast was delicious and we had fun with our spirited guests. Well done Carriage House!

My husband and I came last year and this year. We decided it should be a tradition to spend a couple days in this sweet cozy bed and breakfast. Grace serves the best breakfasts ever and we feel like family here! We love being close to downtown for shopping, our fave local restaurants (Miya Japanese Restaurant, Acoustic Cafe) and to just relax and enjoy. Thank you so much for always making it a special time!

Grace is a great host. My room was absolutely perfect. Breakfast each morning was great. The creme brulee French toast was exceptional. The location is central to the places I go to during my trips to Winona. I look forward to my next trip to Winona and to the Carriage House.

We loved our stay at the Carriage House. It is conveniently located across the street from the Great River Shakespeare Theater Festival and close to the best restaurants in town. The beds are comfortable with lovely linens, wonderful toiletries in the room and a yummy daily breakfast. The Carriage House is charming, a great value, and we would not hesitate to return.

This was my second stay and there was no letdown in accommodations, communication or the fabulous breakfast. Jan and Grace are a great team and the quality of property, from spacious outdoor seating to the comfy bed chambers, made for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. Room was classy not fussy. Nice antiques and decor- clean and inviting and not full of extraneous dusty Knick-knacks like you can see in other b&bs. No TVs in guest rooms which suited us just fine. Small shared TV and coffee area if you wanted. Lovely filling breakfast each morning Very nice owners. Highly recommend.

Quaint and 15 minutes to walk to downtown shops and dining. Good side walks all the way to downtown. Gourmet breakfast served right at 9:00 a.m. so don't be late. Plenty of spaces with flowers and seating to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee from the Keurig you make in foyer. Green door is the entrance for lodging behind the main house. And, in the morning you dine in the main house.

Grace is a very hospitaple host. The breakfast's were awesome. Would highly recommend The carraige house to anyone!
