Of course, you are offered what you would expect from an overnight stay.But then there are those little things that show good care for a guest Personal Reception, some welcome snacks, good coffee/tea are available in the corridor...The rooms are as they should be for a new hotel, good choice of materials, comfortable beds, good lighting, good body care products and not least underfloor heating.The breakfast offers fine ingredients, freshly squeezed juice, good bread and the small waffle as a treat.

The room (west-facing suite) was clean, modern and spacious with stylish decor. However, under the pretext of eco friendliness, the staff did not want to activate the AC system and so we had to spend the night in a 26 degree warm room, with a busy street & pedestrian walk just underneath our windows. Absolutely not acceptable for accommodation in this price segment! Also, be aware that the parking is most likely not available. There are only a few slots and even though we arrived early afternoon, we were simply told to park in the public parking at the harbour, quite a walk with kids and luggage, and of course not secure in any way at all. So whilst the views are great and the interior is of high quality, there are significant no-gos for the level at which this hotel wants to place itself, which left us rather frustrated. Who cares about the decor and location, if you need to schlepp your stuff half a mile, can’t sleep for lack of cool fresh air, and have to worry about your car at night?

We stayed two nights in a three-bedroom suite. It was quite an exceptional apartment with wonderful views and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. It was all very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. However, we think the apartment would benefit by a few more basic items on the inventory. For example, there were many wine glasses but no bottle opener. There were dishwasher tablets but no plates. We don’t really think it should be necessary to ask for plates. My tip would be to sit down and think about what people are likely to do in such an apartment and equip it accordingly.

slottsholmen was fantastic! we were 3 who ate oysters, herring and turbot. high quality food and accompanying drinks! we are really happy with the evening and best of all was jean-marie who served, tipped and entertained us! jean-marie is what made the evening great and the best castle island has!

Underbart hotell med bästa läget i Västervik. Gudomlig utsikt och sköna sängar.

Trevligt å mysigt hotell. Sköna sängar, trevlig personal. Viss personal pratade enbart engelska. Inget problem för oss som kan engelska. Frukosten var bra men inte i samma klass som Stadshotellet i Västervik men ändå godkänd.

Vi hade ett utmärkt dygn på Slottsholmen. Fantastiskt rum längst ut på hotellpråmen med ett stort rum och en stor altan utanför perfekt för morgonkaffet eller drinken före middagen. Det enda som drar ner betyget lite är att vårt rums dusch rann åt fel håll, så golvet utanför duschen var plaskblött. Men personalen var behjälpliga med full uppsättning nya handdukar i stället för de som vi stoppade vattnet med. Cromecasten fick vi inte fungera heller men också där var personalen jättehjälpsam och kom med en gång. Riktigt bra. Med bara små små saker

Wunderbare Lage mit Blick auf das Meer und die kleine Hafenanlage von allen Zimmern. Ein Teil der Zimmer ist in einem schwimmenden Gebäude errichtet. Dass dieses Gebäude schwimmt ist nicht zu bemerken und daher auch für Menschen geeignet die nicht seefest sind die Servicequalität von Rezeption und Restaurant sind herausragend die Architektur und das Interieur Design sind sehr gefällig sehr modern und auf einem Top Standard. Viel Holz und andere Naturmaterialien kommen zum Einsatz die Küche des Restaurants und auch die Bar sind sehr empfehlenswert ebenso ist der Fitnessraum (im Keller und ohne Fenster) sehr gut ausgestattet und gestaltet wie ein richtiger Sportclub. Das Doppelbett besteht aus zwei Einzelbetten ... und ist nicht wirklich empfehlenswert, das ist der einzige Schwachpunkt den wir hier feststellen können.

Det skønneste hotel i den dejlige by, Västervik. Vi nød vores ophold i juni 2023 i fulde drag. Her er godt at være, både på hotellet og i byen og omegnen - fx på vandet. Personale, værelse, restaurant og lounge er i topform. Vi kommer tilbage. Stedet er en PERLE.
