Bountang Mountain View Riverside Hotel

I am unsure why there are no reviews for this hotel, so I wanted to give my opinion. Upon arriving to the hotel it was clear the place was unclean. The family eat their evening meal in the lobby/check in area so it is not really a place for guests to sit. We did have to sit here one evening as the WiFi did not work at all in our room. Breakfast is served in the same area and one morning we opted to go out for breakfast due to the cleanliness and limited options at breakfast. Toast was an option with individual butter sachets but a huge shared communal tub of pineapple jam. The room was also dated and felt very unclean - the bedding was grey. The bed was extremely hard. The one review states a lovely pool. This pool belongs to the hotel across the street and there are a total of 3 sun loungers. We did however get a Mountain View room and the view on evening with the balloons and sunset was beautiful.

Fantastic location, amazing mountain views. Owners and staff could not have been more helpful for our group arranging activities, flying, kayaking, tubing and full day tours including blue lagoons. Clean comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast and a swimming pool with mountain views to cool down in. Amazing value, highly recommended.
