That night arrived a bit late like just a bit over midnight, and was so cold , the check-in staffs let me wait outside of the office for almost 20mins treated me like a convenience store. I just feel that’s unacceptable, It’s not like a convenience stores pay and go, he kept me waiting outside for 20 mins with -1 degree cold. Also, the room is like the pics , everything in the room are so old, heat was not warm enough, TV is not working too. If I knew it’s like that, I wouldn’t have booked for sure, would pay a bit more to get a better one. I was so pissed that waiting for checkin outdoor under that cold weather

We had booked a room with 2 double beds. The first one they gave us was used and not cleaned. Then the next room was 2 single beds (not what we wanted). Final room only had one bed. Looks like it could use a major reno. The bed felt as if I'd roll off in the middle of the night. Not a pleasant experience!!

This place is pretty rough, our stove didn’t work there was no cold water in the kitchen tap, and the bathroom window doesn’t close very good so there is a draft.

It’s the worst hotel I have experienced in my 30 years of traveling. It’s absolutely worse than 1 star hotel, It’s old, rundown, dirty and no maintenance. I won’t stay in this hotel even it’s free. This 90 years old motel should have been bulldozed long time ago. It’s not suitable for human living.

This hotel has such unique history and layout. Such a wonderful serendipitous find in the heart of the city. Walking distance to the sky train. Our room could use different flooring (remove the carpet) but we really enjoyed our stay.

An EV charging station by the office may send a signal of a progressive property but you may as well sleep in your Tesla. Musty smell, stained carpets, WiFi as a joke, torn curtains, unsecured electrical installations and broken roofs - that's 2400. But, hey, wildlife viewing at its best - RATS run everywhere. I even found a rat poo in my drinking cup. I felt so blessed! ...that I noticed it before I drank. No idea how it got there but a rat was in that room at some point. TV was not working because they plugged in a small fan (no AC) into the sole power outlet in the room. I couldn't leave the window open due to ********* smell. No fridge, no coffee maker and towels are kids sized, but I should be glad for no apparent bedbugs and no break in to my car (parked in an alley next to garbage). The owner is clearly broke or just milking it until it falls apart. Roofs have tar paper on them - a clear sign that investment is a bad word at the motel. When I complained to Jordan - the night manager, wearing socks only and communicating via a small window - about the rats, he asked "inside or outside"? He offered a refund if I wished to check out, but not much else as they were full. Yet, almost no cars to be seen...so, I presume this is a refugee/welfare camp. Jordan would not even offer discount from $222 rate because of the third party price (which is pure BS). Stay away!!! To ********** - leave this property to RatsTours.com and delete this garbage.

Checked in at 4 PM, checked out at 9:30 PM, same day. Appreciate the condition of the property and cleanliness efforts for an older building. But we saw two mice in the room. Told front desk and was hoping for a refund. Nope, as had they messaged, "We aim for a fun, unique, experience and if we are not achieving this for you, we would love to have you see us at Front Desk anytime so we can make it right!" They offered another room but we were grossed out by the mice and mice droppings behind the sofa.
