ホテル マリーナ ヴィラ デル リオ(Hotel Marina Villa del Rio)

DO NOT come to this hotel if you have ANY special diet, or if you appreciate having internet in your room. The service, despite its politeness, it is absolutely terrible. I have a rather serious case of coeliacs disease and hotel staff where incapable and COMPLETELY UNWILLING to provide a list of allergens in their menu, refusing point-blank when asked to provide one even on the “alternative” gf foods they serve. Which consists of some disgusting thin rubbery cornstarch and water something (it’d be an insult to call it a crepe, or even worst…a breakfast alternative). I was blamed for having my disease by being told that I should’ve brought my own food for an entire 3 day stay, which I do travel with some food, but let’s face it, I’m not going to carry 3 meals a day in my suitcase. Hospitality means that a hotel room of over $150 a night is MEANT to provide me with alternatives, but they profusely refused to even help me see a list of ingredients that could make me sick. There is not understanding of hospitality, nor much care. Also the internet doesn’t reach the rooms, which assumes we are all local tourists who have local phone data and no need of special diets. Absolute disgrace and such a shame to have spent my time and money in this place. It is not worth it.

The property and hotel are a great place to stay. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. lThe actual river walk is on the other side of the river so a 25 min. walk over the bridge is needed if you don’t want to drive and park. The walk is ok, but not pleasant since there is not a continuous sidewalk out of the hotel to get to the bridge. There is a lot of smog in Valdivia so consider that too.

Restaurant services very limited to predefined menus with one or two options at lunch or dinner. The facilities are huge, very good, but there are no bathrooms in the dining area, they do not have heating in corridors and common areas (only rooms) and it is obvious that they are still not receiving enough guests to fully operate. But the costs of the service and the menus remain high for no reason, as well as being good, they have no service at all. I believe that this policy is not helping to reactivate the operations of the hotel.

Buena estadía , el hotel es muy lindo tiene una vista increíble al rio lo único que no me gusto que estaba un poco fría la habitación. El desayuno rico , para mi faltaba fruta fresca . La carta del restaurante es acotada pero hay platos muy ricos .

Es un hotel hermoso que está ubicado frente al río, del lado opuesto a la ciudad donde están los restoranes y bares. Si bien es un hotel viejo, han moderinizado los sectores y todo está impecable. Las habitaciones son enormes, al igual que el baño, todo muy higiénico. El restaurante con una carta completa, pero con precios algo elevados. El desayuno abundante, pero carece de frutas. Además algo que no me gustó es la cantidad de plástico que usan en tazas y platos. Debieran ser más ecológicos en este aspecto. Lo mejor el parque con una vista espectacular al río. También la tranquilidad del lugar en todo momento. Un hotel para recomendar sin dudas.

Excelente experiencia en las cabañas, mucha calma y silencio, hermosa vista y magnifica atención del personal. Tanto la piscina como el muelle, son lugares magicos. El desayuno es estandar de cualquier hotel, con unos sitios de magnificas vistas.

Es un buen lugar , pero creo que debería aprovechar de mejor forma su infraestructura , podrían ser un lugar mucho mejor con un poco de mayor interés en mejorar el hotel ,hay detalles en la atención que podrían mejor**** en mi opinión para atraer más turistas .

La atención y las habitaciones muy buenas. La vista al río es maravillosa. Lamentablemente la comida, tanto la cena como el desayuno, no concuerdan con el resto del servicio. No existen opciones para comer carne, las ensaladas son minúsculas. en el desayuno se echan de menos frutas frescas, cereales y más opciones de pan.

Excelente habitación con preciosa vista al lago. El desayuno no está a la altura del hotel. Mesas muy pequeñas, servicio desechable, no hay cereales de ningún tipo ni nada sin azúcar. La ubicación en una área no buena, aunque cerca, si estás con auto, de la isla Teja.
