Super 8 by Wyndham Sparta

The initial room that I was assigned had a musty smell. I started sneezing right away. I went to the front desk and the clerk moved me to another room. The beds are way to stiff. I won't stay at another Super 8.

Nothing about our stay was better than "ok"! 2 bath towels, 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel in the room, had to beg the housekeeper for additional. Pillows on the bed were horrible, front desk person said "sorry we can't give additional pillows"!! We were hunting and they did start the breakfast 2 hours early at 4 a.m. which was nice, but again it was only "ok"!

I think it’s time to replace the sheets, specifically those with small “stains”. I’m not normally freaked out but the sheets just caused me to pause and the more I looked around a more comprehensive refresh might be in order. Popular spot for hunters and a perfect option for them. For us, a one night stay would be the max. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and available. Great family restaurant across the street.

we did'nt like the small pool towels, Enough of that. this super8 has a good location, family restauant across the street, several more within 1 mi. a little bit further is Dub's pub and catering, smoked meat's great meal's and burger's. Back to business- this super8 had nice breakfast options while we were there, different every day, the standard was hot potato, egg's, 1 day bacon,next day biscuit's and gravy, then breakfast sausage the next, cold offerings were what u would expect. We booked at this super8 for the pool and hot tub cause we on the bike trail, not disappointed, both hot tub and pool were clean and seamed well mantained. our visit the 4th week of oct 2023 weather did not let us use the outside patio and grill. I think we will return late spring or summer 2024 to ride more of the trail's that are avalible in the area. Check-in&out easy peasy staff was friendly housekeeping thourogh and looking forward to a return stay in2024. Sparta trail head is app .5 mi from thi property.

Good value for money. Very clean and good breakfast. Only bad part was we asked for extra blanket and lady at desk said they had none because they were booked. Didn’t seem booked, but beds were hard so wanted to soften it up a bit.

The room had an unmade bed and uncleaned bathroom. We were not offered another room. Requested a refund and left the hotel.

Very friendly desk person..she recommended several restaurants...room clean quiet and comfortable with added amenities of frig, microwave and safe for longer stays. Breakfast was a nice perk but ran out of hot food within an hour ..will still stay again on our way to Twin Cities...

Comfortable room and close to many places in Sparta, including the bike trail. The pool is small, so if there are a lot of people swimming, it would be crowded quickly. Wood walls in pool area need new varnish. The many plants are very pretty though. Breakfast was pretty good.

ideal location for my infrequent visits in this area. Allways clean and everything works properly. Comfortable rooms
