ホテル ソーマ シシミート(Hotel SØMA Sisimiut)

Good sized, clean room with comfy bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Cafeteria style restaurant with ok food. Would have been nice to have a few more options at breakfast. Good location in center of town.

Sisimiut is one of the most charming places we visited in Greenland. The Soma hotel is right in the middle of the historic center with the local museum. The hotel is great and a meeting point for both tourists and travelers. They build a brand new section with 20 rooms and SPA, I think. Must be amazing.

The location of the hotel is right in the best part of the city-The photo left here is NOT what I got a room - my singleroom was very tiny and no place to leave your luggage open apart from the floor. Only went for breakfast (including)once and nothing exciting. Reception people very friendly and very nice to give a room 11am. Need transfer TO airport - no problem just let the reception knew the day before and the helpful people will take you there - good service point-Thank you.

Try the pop-up restaurant. For a small town with limited posibilities to eat-out, it was a very, very plesant surprise yesterday to experience veyr good food, nice settings and observant, polite staff making our nigth one to remember. KUDO's for the setup, and looking so much forward to a permanent restaurant with class in everything. Thank you.

Overall very good with friendly and helpful staff. It wasn’t clear on Tripadvisor that this is a temperance (no alcohol) hotel which was a bit disappointing, but otherwise a good location with comfortable rooms. Whale watching with boatsafari.gl is highly recommended.

My flight got cancelled and Air Greenland got me a room here, with vouchers for meals. The rooms were nice enough, and the staffs were friendly and attentive. Cafe is one of the only dine out options in Sisimiut, and it was great. Locals were coming here to have lunch and dinner too. Wi-fi worked strong as well. Definitely would love to stay here when I come back in winter time..!

Close to the port, ferry, attractions, shops.

We had planned on staying here after completing the Arctic Circle Trail. We however turned around and never made it to Sisimiut. Prior to leaving Kangerlussuaq we had a bag shipped there so we would have clean clothes and other necessities. Even though we cancelled our reservation the hotel staff went way above and beyond anything I would expect in getting our bag returned to Kangerlussauq. They were amazing. If they will work so hard for someone who isn't paying to stay there, imagine how a real guest would be treated. My sincerest thanks to everyone at the hotel!

Boede 3 dage på Hotel Søma i Sisimiut. Alt i alt en ok oplevelse. Maden i cafeen var ikke den store oplevelse og lukkede 19.30. Jeg prøvede ikke restauranten. Træningscentret var meget lille og så ikke så indbydende ud. Værelset (standard) var meget sparsom indrettet.
