Great place to stay. Very comfortable , warm n welcoming. Great view, comfy bed, and they even chased us down in their car after we left a pair of glasses. Lovely hosts

Helga and Dagur are some of the loveliest people you'll ever meet. They have beautiful and well equipped guest rooms and offer an excellent breakfast. They also offer a private hotpot to their guests. We went as a group trip and had an absolutely great time. Helga was always happy to give us recommendations for activities around the area according to the weather. Even though it was our first time there it felt like meeting old friends.

Stayed 2 nights in the cabin and it was amazing...only wish we could have stayed longer! Helga and Dagur were super to talk with! They communicated with us through email as we traveled to Siglufjörður since it was already snowing and wanted to make sure we were safe; very friendly and outgoing. Dagur filled the hot tub for us the first night so we could relax in the thermal water while it was lightly snowing and we REALLY enjoyed the outdoor shower...invigorating! Thank you both for the wonderful stay and memories.

The proprietor, Helga, was super-nice and helpful. She told us all about the history of the little town and what to expect on our drive around Iceland. The room was comfortable, with a truly spectacular view out the front window. But be aware: there are four bedrooms, and there's only ONE bathroom! We were fortunate to be the only couple there that night, but otherwise, contention for the bathroom would have been a hassle.

A beautiful stay in picturesque, historical town. Our cottage was perfectly appointed, top quality linens. Hosts Helga & Dagur were so interesting, brought us local fresh-made breakfast, filled hot tub (outdoors overlooking town) and shared an amazing night — the Aurora Borealis put on a spectacular show for 1+ hours 🙏🤩

The attention to making the rooms comfortable and pretty is amazing. Hostess very friendly and helpful with info about what is in the area.

Very clean, a little tight. The outdoor shower was amazing. We had a good stay. Owners were very helpful.

We had a cosy private lodge with veranda and nice view to the fjord and mountains. The hosts are extremely sympathetic and prepare a tasty breakfast with homemade bread, cookies and jam. Dragur took us for a walk along the fjord with great views.
