ハイアット リージェンシー サラソタ(Hyatt Regency Sarasota)

A room with a lovely view. Quite a walking distance to restaurants and everything but average hotel restaurant for late dinner. Very spacious room and toilet or breakfast. They have to send serviceman twice to fix the heat/room control. Sliding door to balcony was heavy to open and close. The deal was average I would say.

Overall a very good experience - you can’t beat the location and views here. Employees were knowledgeable and friendly. The common areas are clean and pleasant including the pool. The rooms are older and a bit “tired” looking but I gathered as much from reading prior reviews. We enjoyed the balcony a lot and I would recommend getting a higher floor room with a balcony if you can. An easy upgrade would be to get better pillows as the ones in our room left something to be desired.

The most helpful and nice staff. We just discovered this hotel, Love it and would like to come again and again. Sad to hear that will be renovated soon.

Would never stay there again. Addressed my concerns with the hotel..and the response was thank you for your comments. We value improvement in our service. That was it. Never going back

Great location with lots to do. Pillows were not great and the resort fee was a little bit concerning considering some things were not usable.

This hotel is nostalgic for me. My mom stayed there for a month in the 90’s while looking for a house. We went there after I got married . We went there again after we had our 25th anniversary commitment ceremony . My mom and I stay there when she visits from Michigan. That being said it sort of frozen in time. They use to have a very lovely brunch , it use to be a super nice place but it seems like not a lot has been done in 30 years. I know they are improving it so that’s good and it’s priced accordingly so that’s also good. I do like it there but it desperately needs to be updated to be a place that I would like to go back to while visiting Sarasota. Just spent three nights there and the air was broken and it was freezing. And we need room service back. Love the views and hope that they get back to being an incredible play to stay.

I had high expectations for this hotel based on ratings and reputation. The hotel is nice and clean. This hotel is a great walking location to go to vanweezel and drivable to beach and st Armand’s. The reason for my rating was because of the temperature in the room. The thermostat was not functioning and the room was too cold. The internet access is fair as well as the restaurant on site.
