コンフォート イン バイ ザ ベイ(Comfort Inn by the Bay Hotel San Francisco)

The location is perfect. Walking distance to the Famous PIER 39 and other Piers. Also near to the famous cable car location ( from one to another end is around 45 minutes) . The hotel has a parking lots ( need to pay USD 30/day) . Recommended to take this as the streets of San Francisco is not safe for the cars to be parked overnight in the streets. The breakfast is standard.The value for the room per day is worth it.

Lovely welcome from Lilibeth on reception late afternoon. Fab bedroom with 2 king beds, smallish bathroom & fab view of GGB. Clean & homely….far cry from some of the motels we’d been staying in for not dissimilar prices! Great breakfast included. Staff great.

Hotel and staff were great. Room was clean and in good condition. Bathroom was fresh and well maintained. My only consideration to future guests would be if you are sensitive to street noise at night probably not the best place to stay as the hotel is right at an intersection of two major streets.

Muito bem localizado, mas a limpeza é um ponto que necessita ser melhorado. Aquele conceito de limpar todos os dias os quartos já não existe mais e no nosso caso foi realizado apenas uma vez. Não considero essa economia como sustentabilidade pq o hotel tem carpete muito antigo e banheira e isso por si só requer preventivamente mais limpeza e cuidados com umamboa higienização.

It’s an older hotel but was clean and staff was good. Breakfast is ok with eggs, bacon, sausage patties, or links (rotated each day), waffles, assorted fruit, bread, and drinks. Parking is around 35 a night after tax. Close to major attractions and buses. We felt safe walking at night.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It’s on the corner of Van Ness & Lombard. I had a room with a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge & the Bay on the 4th floor. I paid $30 tax for parking per day (which was much cheaper than any other places in the area). My only complaints with parking was the parking was tight, (but it’s expected in San Fran), and there was no elevator in the parking structure; I had to lug my luggage up/down the stairs to get to the elevator on the parking level just below the lobby. If you prefer using public transportation, Uber and Lyft are very convenient using their mobile apps and they p/u right outside the hotel. This hotel isn’t soundproof, after all you’re in a big city and the walls are thin, but I didn’t have any trouble sleeping here. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great (eggs, bacon, waffles, muffins, fruit, coffee and juices). I’d definitely stay here again.

Really nice hotel in a good area for SF. We had a view to the golden gate wich was very nice. Room was large and very clean. The hotel was very busy and we had to wait quite a bit to get a seat for breakfast. Parking is 30$ pr day, and is very tight!

Overall, save your money and find a clean hotel. This hotel needs major maintenance and renovations. The rooms are dirty, coffee machine is in the washroom. Parking is terrible and expensive. I had my wife and daughter with me. This hotel didn’t feel safe

Hôtel finalement plutôt bien placé et en dehors des « zones de chaos » et d’insécurité du centre ville. Climatisation (chaud et froid) en panne : signalée à la réception mais sans effet correctif. Par ailleurs, la ventilation de la salle de bain est totalement inefficace générant après la douche, un niveau d’humidité extrêmement désagréable et une condensation infernale sur la baie vitrée. Deux ascenseurs (seulement) qui génèrent beaucoup de temps d’attente et conduisent à recourir à l’escalier de secours. Tarif de parking annoncé à 30$ par jour sans les taxes. Résultat après deux nuitées, le parking revient à 72$ au lieu des 60$ escomptés. Bilan global du séjour plutôt positif en terme de rapport qualité/prix.
