After traveling half the day and all night we decided to aquire lodging. We made an earlier trip to the grocery store in an agreed attempt to eat healthy and cook our meal, leading to the fact of our need for a kitchenette. Calling around at 5am and we were only able to speak with a few establishments before finally speaking with a lady at the Extended Stay America Suites San Carlos Ca. She stated there were available rooms and she would be happy to check us in anytime after 7am on Nov.12,2021. Although thirty miles in our opposite original destination are debate wS short lived and we headed there. Actually giving the lady a call a second time to confirm the 7am check in as well as shower accessibility which she restated as well as insured handicap accessibility to shower. Having had a recent surgery on my knee this detail was very important and crucial in our decision. The short end to this sad point I can assume to you is obvious with our direction. We arrived 15-20 minutes early and notified the "system" would not allow us accommodations until exactly 7am. As we waited in the parking lot eventually returning a couple minutes after 7am. Well you guessed it! A different lady than the one we had original conversation said it could not be done. We would have to wait until 12pm-1pm at the earliest despite our explanation to our situation. We now sit in the parking lot with our perishables purchased from store melting and an attempt to stay awake through pain of almost 20 hrs

Would not stay there again. Very small room. Bed and pillows are not comfortable. Vending machine wasn’t working. Interior is very old.

This was a good stay. The only thing we would have liked to see different would be the breakfast. They say breakfast included, but it was muffins and granola bars. Other than that, everything was good.

This was a horrible experience in customer service and how this hotel treats it's guests! I will NEVER stay here again! I thought my checkout day for my reservation was 16th, so when I got to the hotel the night of the 15th my key did not work. When I went to the front desk to ask why my key was not working I was told that I should have already checked out at 11:00 a.m. that day and that they were going to need to charge me the cost of that night plus a $250 cleaning fee. I was also told that I could not stay there that night they could not check me in I had to wait for their manager the next day well I start work before their manager comes in so I am probably going to be charged for two nights now on top of the $250 cleaning fee I was not given a courtesy call to ask and make sure that I knew that that was my checkout day and to confirm if I was extending. I'm still waiting for the manager to call me back this has been the worst experience I've ever had I will never stay at this hotel this is the worst hospitality experience I have ever had.

We love staying here. Staff super friendly, great location. Walter is amazing at customer service.
