Hotel was immaculately clean staff very friendly location was perfect 10/10 I’d highly recommend & will definitely be returning

Good location in downtown Ruse. Nice, we’ll-furnished and clean rooms. The staff was generally helpful and courteous. However, the property is aging and not as well maintained as I had hoped. In the height of summer, the air conditioning was not adjustable and the room was hot. Lastly, there was no dedicated parking, despite the hotel advertising “parking included” in the reservation.

Whole hotel stinks of smoke, rooms are not cleaned, bedding is tired, fixtures are worn, bathrooms have tiles missing and black grouting/mould. Breakfast is not worth attending as foodis of a poor standard, only coffee and tea and orange squash. Bred is stale and no staff present. Outdoor swimming pool is not this it's a plunge pool and you pay extra for the privilege! No one likes to write a negative review but if this helps people avoid it and the management take action to improve their non existing customer service and dilapidated hotel then that's great.

The hotel is in a great location on the back of the main walking ***** in Russe - Aleksanrovska Blvd and across the street from a small well manicured park with a kids playground and plenty of benches one can sit and enjoy the beautiful greenery and flowers. The suites are a good size with living room, separate bedroom in the loft space and 2 bathrooms. The air conditioning in the rooms worked well but the common areas of the hotel were not air conditioned and felt stuffy. The breakfast buffet was OK - limited fruit options, some cold cuts and a couple of hot foods- scrambled eggs, bacon and something else. My daughter enjoyed the French toast but it was only available on 1 of the 3 mornings we were there.

It is a very lovely place to stay. I only stay for two days . The personnel is very nice . I want to thanks to the very nice lady from the reception who found my car key that I have lost in front of the hotel.

The hotel’s swimming pool is used in the evening for swimming lessons. So it cannot be used by hotel guests. There is a poster to that effect. There is an additional charge for the sauna. The hotel is located in the center. The rooms are large and spacious. They don't have a balcony. It's cleanliness. You can hear the noises in the next room.

I understand that options in Ruse are limited, but I promise any other accommodation will be better than Cosmopolitan. We booked a suite and it was 27 degrees Celsius in the room when we got there. The AC did not work well enough to cool the room the whole stay. We slept on couches next to the windows because the rest of the suite was too hot. We ordered wine from room service and it was never delivered. After an hour I went down to the bar and the “bartender”(who was wearing gym shorts and a t-shirt) gave me only the bottle of wine. I had to use the bar key on the bar to open it myself, as well and get wine glasses to take back to the room. The room was large and impressive, but filthy. The carpet had stains all over. The windows were covered in dirt and cobwebs. When we moved the couch to the windows we found it disgusting underneath. Breakfast was a joke. There were cold, runny eggs and hot dogs, which was the only “hot” option. The vegetables were dried out. The wifi was the only impressive thing about this hotel.

The room was spacious and cozy, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were helpful. Overall we had a great experience. We would stay here again if we come to Russe.

Run away! No heating during the night. Just cold win for air conditional and the staff don’t care… Have to sleep with my jacket and for sure no discount in the end!
