Great place for lunch and afternoon at the pool across from the puntarena Beach plenty of tables around the pool plenty of sunshine good times and lovely margaritas we visited this place many times during our 2 months staying in puntarenas!

I had a terrible night's sleep as the beds are rock hard. This is NOT an exaggeration. I appreciate a firm bed BUT these beds were beyond firm to extremely uncomfortable. Aside from that, the room was clean and neat. The tv was old with no HDMI port available and NO Netflix or English speaking options. There is NO bolt or chain available on your door at night on the inside for extra security as is common for most ALL hotel rooms.

The rooms were clean, beds were rock hard and difficult to sleep on. The TV was older, small and had no English speaking channels nor Netflix options. There was no chair. The restaurant is quite nicely positioned on the street corner so picks up a GREAT cool cross breeze. Nice to have drinks or dinner or sit by the pool and look across at the water. Dinner was reasonably priced. We split a Greek salad, a Tomahawk steak with drinks for around $60 USD.

We went for the race sol y arena. The night of the race I asked the owner to lower the music and he refuse to do that. It was already 9pm and we ran 10k on the beach we wanted to rest. I would not recommend this hotel at all. The room was terrible the toilet not working the bathroom bad. Terrible hotel.

The up keeping and cleanliness of the rooms and common areas is just terrible. There’s hard water in the shower floor, the shower head was dirty with no shampoo or soap in the dispenser. The hotel also generates a lot of noise due to an event room on the second floor until late at night.

Management is great. !!!!

Property is NOTHING like the photo. We booked a king lovely suite. Beautiful in the web photo. On arrival, they have no such thing. We’re offered a room with 5 twin beds. Then another with a double bed (box and mattress on the floor). Walked away. Are trying to get a refund. Beware that what is on the website is not the reality.

This is similar to a motel vibe.. our first room was a suite.. it had no towels and moldy showers.. we moved to a smaller room that was cleaner.. the sheets were hard and I couldn’t sleep. The breakfast was good and they had fresh omelettes and empanadas.

Great location and staff. Very convenient and walkable. Good food andok room.
