Overall it was ok, the room was big and spacious, but the rooms are old and we had a room on the ground floor with no view, nevertheless, many other rooms were available. The sauna in the spa wasn't working (even after 3 hours of being switched on), but the pool and jacuzzi were ok. Breakfast was ok, but with very poor choices.

Just returned from a three week stay over Chris**as and New Year. We had a few questions before we arrived, which were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Easy and fast check-in and were given a room upgrade, which is always welcome. Our room was exceptional. Very clean, spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. Towel and linen changed regularly, and the lady who cleaned our room was fantastic, and she was very helpful and friendly. We were on the top floor, bloc B, with stunning views of the sea. Being winter, the outside pools were closed, but looked lovely, you could still access the area and relax there if you wanted. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was really nice. Nice bar and restaurant in the hotel. Locally there are numerous bars and restaurants and if you want to walk in to Praia da Rocha, Portimao or Alvor all are a 20 to 40 minute east walk, or just jump on the electric busses, which run very regularly and are really cheap. Great location, lovely views, stunning beaches. Would definitely recommend and would certainly return.

Lovely location and good accommodation. Cleaners come round every day and the wifi was good. Nice indoor pool and water was warm.Outdoor pool is not heated and water was very cold but weather was great . Went April 6 Beach is lively and just past the iutside pool. Will be returning

Return visit, and knew what to expect. Was not dissapionted. We got top floor in block D, and although its got fantastic view of sea, there is no view of pool. The appar**ent has nice standard of furnishings and is well maintained. Cleanliness is high, and domestic staff are regular visitors. All staff are very helpful and if you need anything then they are keen to help...special mention to evening duty manager for getting taxis for us to varios restaurants. We didnt use the "my guest" in house restaurant, so cant comment.Apart from breakfast, the facility wasnt utilised much. perhaps this will change in high season.

We returned after 30 years and joined our family who go every year and we were delighted to be back.The resort is very well run- it is very clean,the daily maid service excellent and the facilities are very good. It is quiet and an ideal place for families in a super location.

Our particular unit was excellent - not sure why RCI can't tell you which one you are going to get. There was free daily room cleaning, despite sign in unit that said they would charge? Mercado on property excellent prices and service. Bring a swimming cap, it is mandatory. Charge for sauna or steam is 4 euros. Great restaurants nearby - walking distance, some inland.

Unforgettable beach. Deep with shallow grade and hard sand and fantastic cliffs with eroded pillars. Fantastic boardwalk and path above. January visit was surprisingly good weather, warm ocean, cheap rates and quiet. Many venues closed, however, though some nearby restaurants were open. Check first and don't depend on Google information.

Staff was very rude, dirty rooms and bad location. During my dtay the staff was horrible they were rude and did not help me in anything I will be never staying here again. The roomy are as dirsy as the staffs buts, I dont think they ever clean them. And the location was not good
