ユップライジング ビーチ リゾート(Uprising Beach Resort)

A very VERY strange experience here I must say.. I arrived at the 28 bed dorm room (even though trip.com said it was 10 bed) and there was no sign of any other life in the dorm at all. Most of the beds looked like they had been made months ago and nobody had slept in them since because they were covered in a layer of dust and dirt.. I went back to reception to ask what was going on and they said I’m the only one booked in so I just accepted it as it was. However, later on when I was sitting the bar a member of staff approached me and told me I had been upgraded (because supposedly the dorms weren’t clean due to a big group having checked out yesterday) so I ended up spending two nights in a luxurious Bure, the first night shared with someone else who was booked in for the dorms. The Bure was beautiful and spotless and I am very grateful for the upgrade. The outside shower was also very nice! The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from! Eggs, sausages, beans, bread, cakes, yogurts, fruit, multiple cereals, tea, coffee and juice, one morning there were pancakes. The only downsides to this resort is they don’t have any activities or excursions of their own and they direct you to the hotel further along - I did snorkelling there which costs $75 - the whole thing felt rushed in my opinion and the trip wasn’t worth the money. We got barely any time in the water and there was no time to stop and observe anything, seemed like the guys on the boat just wanted to get it all over and done with as fast as possible.

Bure was nice and spacious, breakfast was good and the meals we had were also really nice. Advertised online that there was a gym but there wasn’t one there.

Everything was so lovely. I will be back with my family to enjoy again. Awesome place to be with families.

Amazing beachfront location for swimming. Great friendly service. Very relaxing. Was let down by misleading information on website, gym looked great (if only there was one).

We (my partner I and our toddler) stayed in a bure and the view was amazing. It was very big and practical with a toddler. The wc in the bure is a bit old fashioned and not very well maintained. However the rainfall shower is such a great experience. We absolutely love it. Their serve very good in their restaurant. The hotel itself is very nice. You can see some stuffs are not very well maintained (probably due to $$). Staffs are very nice and kids friendly. The surroundings are okay but you need a car as there is not much to do or make sure you check the timetables for the activities of the excursions around. Overall, very nice place to stay

Home away from home! I stayed at Uprising for 4 nights in a Beach front villa and truly enjoyed my stay. The beach front villa is well worth the little extra $$. The sea view is gorgeous and you get the sea breeze too. I also like that it is very spacious, plus it has an aircon which is helpful on the hot and humid nights. The outdoor shower is lovely. The beach is nice, clean and peaceful. Really enjoyed walking on the long stretch of beach. Staff made the place even more special. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Vinaka all :-) Highly recommend the Beach front villa at Uprising. It has the charm.

Absolutely beautiful and would definitely go again! The second night our AC broke and it was one of the hottest night. The next day we got moved into a new villa so was very happy with our stay.
