Wonderful location! Wonderful and friendly staff. The food is delicious!

A truly special stay for a few nights. The reception was very friendly and welcoming and the lady gave us all the necessary information to make the stay a pleasant one. The room is superb and very comfortable with everything one could wish for. I just missed DStv to watch the international rugby match on the Saturday afternoon. The restaurant serves a mean breakfast. A bonus is that there was a friendly gentleman who cleaned your car, getting rid of the dust picked up on the gravel road. Another bonus is the beautiful view over the Little Karoo with the Swartberg Mountains in the background. A definite "Go again" place.

Perfect Place to come down from any Stress! See Meerkatz Adventure in the early Morning with sunrise and Chandelier to feed Sheila the giraffe! Go to the caves or just enjoy the perfect atmoshere on the property.

We booked the guest house for one night because we read the good reviews and also liked the website very much, it promised a luxurious and very nice stay. We really enjoyed the dinner (ostrich steak) on the terrace with a great view of the farm and the mountains behind it. Unfortunately, there is a clear maintenance backlog in many areas. Many things urgently need to be done here. Especially in the pool area (partly broken sun lounger). Also our room needs a new refurbishment (furniture etc.). And here we are not talking about getting rid of antique things. The garden also looked a bit careless and neglected.

This is the second time we stayed over at De Denne Guest House - and again, it was just a pleasure! The pool and lawn were a welcome resting place in the heat and the long drive. As always, the staff are super friendly, welcoming and helpful where ever they can be. Dinner was a wonderful experience, especially the ostrich meat. The rooms were so inviting, huge and filled with great detail. We had the lights on during loadshedding and the wi-fi was great whilst we were there. Perhaps just one suggestion for the hot months - ceiling fans in the bedrooms, as the airflow into the rooms are not so great and keeping the air-con on during the night is not ideal. The breakfast was tasty and everything you may need and it already says a lot that this was our second stay here and we will most certainly come back any day again! Keep it up and well done!

Fantastic! A really beautiful and luxurious place to stay! Also lovely people and the best Ostrich steak.very good and personal tour in the farm. One of the best so far in 10+ good/luxury stays so far! Large rooms, nice shower, pool with view etc.

Great views and the room was nice. Food was just ok. Def get the ostrich steak when here. Tours from here were very good. Meerkats was an early wake-up and is hit or miss with the views of them. Ostrich farm was cool. Waterfall trek was neat. You have to do the caves!!

Old fashion country house. Nice large rooms and bathrooms. Good location because it is near the ostrich farms and the watching of the Meerkats. Good starting point to see the Swartzbergpass. Nice breakfast. But they don’t know how to make mojito’s. ;-).

This place is amazing! We only stayed three nights, but wished we could’ve stayed longer. Very well-appointed room, spacious, comfortable bed, nice clean bathroom; it had everything. Heat and air conditioning if you need it. The restaurant is very good too. We ended up eating there most nights. The breakfast is good – there’s a buffet with cereal, bread for toasting, fruit, yogurt, etc., then you can also order from a menu for the hot portion (eggs, pancakes, omelettes). Staff is incredible, so friendly and helpful. During load-shedding, they have a generator that gives you lights and TV, just no kettle or HVAC, which was fine. Just one tiny thing, and this is because we were there in the winter, but the bathroom was quite cold. Even though there's heat in the main room, somehow none of the heat seems to make it into the bathroom! But i'm sure this isn’t a problem at all in warmer weather - we just happened to be there when it was quite cold.
