マウント エチョ サファリ ロッジ(Mount Etjo Safari Lodge)

First off, the gravel road to Mt Etjo has to be one of the best in Namibia - on arrival at reception, Alicia was just very capable, very organized and very friendly. Every aspect was just as planned and as expected. Directions to the Dinosaur camp were perfect and the campsite was absolutely beautiful, clean and we could not have asked for more. The game drive ( with Orlando - I think his name was) was most enjoyable

Honestly, very disappointed. It was my birthday and I discussed what they can offer for the celebration. They proposed a cake + singing a song with a cake. I agreed on that. In the evening, I was brought a cake in a very discreet way, almost like hiding it from everyone. No even words Happy birthday.. no song, no candles.. nothing.. I spent 2 weeks in different lodges in Namibia and I saw how other lodges treated their guests on the B-day.. they made them feel special and created a positive a**osphere.. I was just ignored.. they made me pay for the cake (which was not great). And just mumbled "sorry" on the checked-out..

We had a very plesant stay at Mount Etjo a very nice big and clean room ,te food was every day excellent, this was our second stay and we will go back again.

This side trip was recommended by Bergzicht Game Lodge and was a fabulous experience. I must have taken 1,500 photos during five game drives over 2 1/2 days. I had not seen lions and elephants since a 2014 photo safari in Zambia, so this was a special treat.

Luxury enclosed campsite area with big bonfire set up and private bathroom. A few kilometers from the main safari lodge. Only 2 out of 6 camp spots were occupied so was nice and private. It was a little unclear of where you could walk and where was off limits with wild animals as it is a huge area, and the fencing/signage seemed a bit lacking. Good one night stay between Etosha and Windhoek/Swakopmund.

Wonderful place, like an oasis after driving a long way through green landscape. Very attentive people and wonderful gamedrive with lots of animals

It was a wonderful stay in the villa for two nights with my wife daughter and son. The staff was very friendly and very helpful in everything we wanted to do The food was amazing I would recommend mount etjo to anyone.

We camped at Mount Etjo for 2 nights and we absolutely loved our stay. Booking was smooth and efficient - any questions I had were answered promptly. We were warmly welcomed and were given all the info we needed. Campsites are about 3km from the main lodge and perfectly equipped (outside AND inside shower, a fridge, shady trees, a nice seating area and a great braai area.) and in a peaceful and quiet location. Transport is offered by the main lodge for game drives, dinners and the lion feeding which was very helpful as we had a roof tent. We had dinner at the main lodge and both food and service were great. A hearty, filling meal, expertly prepared, and it was delicious. The game drives were fantastic. Our guide, Orlando, was very knowledgeable and extremely patient, answering our 1001 questions. Mnt Etjo is a stunning and varied location with beautiful sights and of course animals. I'd highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be staying again, next time likely for longer than 2 nights.

We had been given the "Villa" at it was amazing! Regretfully, we only could stay for one night, and it had not allowed us to enjoy amenities at full. We appreciated the look of the estate, and feeling of staff hospitality. From the first entry to the reception guests are taken care of in very friendly manner, and the lodge structure and functionality is explained. The PM Game Drive was great experience with guide Atti, who did his best to find the animals, and give the visitors details of the found species behavior.
