レジデンツァ デポカ レジーナ ダルボレア(Residenza d'Epoca Regina d'Arborea)

The location of this hotel is excellent for walking in the town but it has problems…elevator doesn’t work, breakfast is in a cafe down the street, rooms are strange (toilet, sink, shower in 3 separate rooms) and cluttered, parking only on the street if you can find a space. Not a four star experience for us, only 3* (and that is generous).

The Best of All was the host, Signora María. She is All love and kindness. The Hotel is at the first flor of a 19th century Palazzo Carta Corrías. All the ceilings are decorated and paited. You fell like you have been transported in time but with All the modern facilities. Also, you open your valcony and you are looking directly at Piazza Eleonora, the Main plaza in oristano.

Lovely building and room in center of town. We had to pay for parking because the piazza where we could park with hotels permit was full until 10:30 pm. We had booked for two nights The owner told us before arriving we might have trouble with streets in center of city as an event would be happening. However only after checking in did the owner tell us that the event was a orchestral performance from 9:30 pm till after midnight next evening in front ( right in front) of our first story room. It would have been lovely a block away but now everyone was setting up stage, equipment etc for a major performance. As early sleepers we decided to leave the next morning It would have been nice to know about the performance before the 24 hour cancellation so we did not have to pay for a room we did not use because we could not go to sleep We felt the owner was less the upfront about the performance and should have refunded a nights fee. We had to book another room to sleep that night.

Beautiful room, proprietress friendly and helpful

Charming space, excellent location. Parking is difficult. The reception area smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

We loved this place, such a beautiful location, wonderful rooms, and a bar and restaurant in an enclosed courtyard just outside. From our welcome to departure (8 nights) we were made to feel at home. Highly recommended.

J’abaisse quelque peu le nombre d’étoiles en raison… du petit-déjeuner ! Car pour un hôtel de ce standing, clairement ça ne suit pas. Et je me suis faite avoir par les photos de Tripadvisor qui montraient un buffet magnifique (mais ça, c’était avant la Covid qui a parfois encore bon dos !) En effet, hôtel magnifique tous comme les chambres qui sont spacieuses et ne manquent de rien. Mais vous prenez le petit-déjeuner dans les cafés du bas (car le dimanche c’est encore à un autre qu’il faut aller), et la ben, c’est quelques viennoiseries et une boisson + un jus industriel. À l’italienne quoi. Sauf qu’en vacances, on s’attend quand même à mieux de ce côté là. Personnellement j’aime beaucoup les petit-déjeuners d’hôtel mais la c’est la cata ! Pas de fruits, pas de salé. Des croissants et brioches fourrés à la crème et c’est tout. Ah et dans le café du dimanche, on nous a même demandé de payer un supplément car nous dépassions le montant du petit-déjeuner prévu !

Anche quest’anno abbiamo trascorso due settimane bellissime in Sardegna: isola selvaggia e nello stesso tempo accogliente. Abbiamo passato cinque giorni ad Oristano ,dove abbiamo scoperto una caletta vicino alla spiaggia di San Giovanni di Sinis: l’acqua era cristallina con tutte le gradazioni dell’azzurro e del verde. Il resto dei giorni siamo stati a Santa Maria Navarrese: posto rilassante, e alloggiato all’Ostello Bellavista, il quale si trova nel posto più alto del paese e regala una visuale unica. Mangiato benissimo…ristoranti veramente ospitali che sanno “coccolare” i loro avventori. La Sardegna è un capolavoro!!! Cristina
