Fantastic hotel in a prime location with excellent facilities and wonderful staff. The only negative is the room service meals. They are pre-prepared and aweful, hopefully this will be addressed before our next stay. Other than that fantastic !!

Friendly, helpful staff in a funky hotel, the reconstruction of an old building. I can only speak to our suite which had a large window opening to an inner yard with stained glass scenes and no view to the outside world. Without checking on the internet, you could not know whether it was sunshine or a blizzard. The bath/shower combo was slippery and, in my view, dangerous. It was open to the bedroom and lacked privacy. Still, the overall design was attractive. You may like it more than we did.

We had a fabulous stay at the Sozo Hotel. Amazing location and a very interesting church conversion. Great breakfast and the extended breakfast time makes for a very leisurely dining experience. The staff were amazing , very friendly helpful and accommodating. On check in the receptionist went over and above in giving us detailed information on the city , restaurants and places of interest to visit. Amazing stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone and hope to return soon.

Small but charming rooms. My only suggestion would be there need to be outlets on either side of the bed, besides the one the lamp plugs into that requires moving the bed. Hotel is right across the street from the jardin which is a lovely morning or evening walk. Staff was wonderful, great shower, would definitely stay again.

A most interesting architectural project and it was good to see photos and plans on the walls detailing the conversion. The shower had a slippery floor (when wet) and there are no grab handles. The interior of the shower door had no handle to close it.

The Sozo is a four-star hotel built in a converted 19th century chapel. I paid extra to stay in one of the top floor rooms with the stained glass and vaulted ceilings. Room amenities included robes and a Nespresso machine, with coffee, tea, bottled water and biscuits refreshed daily. This hotel also has a lift, so it is perfect for people with physical disabilities. The concierges are functionally bilingual. There was a hand written welcome note on my bed which was a very nice touch. The Sozo is across the street from a large botanical park which is also a thoroughfare to other parts of the city. It is a five minute walk to the train station and tram line, and there are a number of places to eat in the immediate area. I recommend the Sozo for the experience, service and location.
