The front desk guy woke us up at 1 am to ask why there was a duplicate registration for us in the system. When I was upset that he had woken us for something so small, I expressed how frustrated I was. Both that night and the following morning I asked him to not come wake us that late unless it was an emergency. He tried to say we hadn’t been there earlier (we actually got back to our room at 8pm which is pretty early!) and then that it wasn’t a big deal. I am Not sure if he just didn’t care or if he literally didn’t understand why waking someone at that hour would be an issue at all

Nice place to spend the night and plenty of parking. I had to transport a Mack box truck and had no issues finding parking here. My only complaint was that the heater did not work in the room so I was freezing but I just needed to spend the night.

Nothing good to say about this motel. It started off by getting to our room and the AC had not been on, probably in quite awhile. In addition to being hotter in the room than outside, and it was at least 90 outside, the room had a very heavy musty, moldy odor to it. I went and spoke to the manager and he questioned if I turned the AC on correctly. There are only two knobs and no buttons, one controlled the fan speed and the other had the circular color *****e going from red to blue. He asked if I turned both knobs to the right, which I did, because 1, I could hear the fan change speeds and 2, I followed the direction towards the blue because that indicates cooling. I had given the AC a few minutes and it still had not started blowing cooler air, so that was why I went to see him. He came down and confirmed it wasn't cool in the room and took me to the room next door to show how he said he keeps the rooms all the time. It was indeed cool and did not smell so I asked to be moved, which he was fine with. However, he asked if we "touched anything" in the first room and my wife had used a hand towel to dry her hands. He picked that up and moved it to the second room "to save the maid from having to change it". More on the maid service later. So we get in the second room and we decide we'd like a drink and a snack so I go down to the convenience store 1/4 mile away. When I get back, my wife greets me with the remote for the TV and shows me a batter that had failed and was leaking causing corrosion on the contacts. I take the remote down to the office and he puts new batteries in it. Then he gives me instructions that I am going to have to reprogram the TV to be able to see any channels. Lo and behold he was correct, the remote turned the TV on but there were no channels. I went through the whole process of programming the cable TV channels and after awhile, we had channels. What we didn't have was any kind of an on screen guide to tell us what channels were where and what show was on or coming up. That meant we had to scroll through all the channels and try to find something interesting to watch. This was exasperated by the fact that if you hit a commercial, you had to wait for it/them to finish running to see what show was on. Once we finally found something to watch, we then realized the volume was not working. If we didn't talk or move around, we could hear the dialogue, but just barely. Later on the volume did start working, but that proved to be only temporary. I don't know how much of these complications had to do with this being a cheap TV but I suspect it contributed. The picture was not all that great either, reinforcing the suspicion that this was in fact a very cheap TV. This theme of going cheap on everything has now revealed itself as a pattern. First the hand towel, then the AC not working, then the problems with the TV and later, again the AC in the new room. I stated earlier that this is a motel. It is one floor and all of the room doo

Walked in the room and was overwhelmed by **** smoke as if someone just left the room. The couch and bed were both dilapidated. I do understand it’s a business but this establishment should be paying customers to stay in these horrendous conditions.

Not a good experience. The first room we got, the AC was not working & room smelled musty. The owner confirmed it. He allowed us to change rooms. Later, my wife discovered that the TV remote wasn't working. One of the batteries was leaking. The owner replaced the batteries, told me I would have to reprogram the channels. The TV is poor quality, cheap which was indicative of everything associated with this motel. When he moved us over, he asked if we had touched anything. He took that hand towel we used and swapped it with the one from the 2nd room. Really cheap but then again he was driving a MB he had to pay for. My wife said when she turned on the water in the new room, a spider came out of the sink. She didn't tell me until after we had checked out, btw. We also found a used towel hanging on the inside of the bathroom door on the new room too. We stayed 2 nites and there was no maid service after the first nite. This motel is a very old style, reminiscent of the 1960's. It has some updates, but the AC is still the old style on the outside wall. It was cold near the unit and hot on the other side of the room, especially when it kicked off. There are no coat hangers to hang anything up. It felt like every possible corner that could be cut to save money was. Even the 3 light bulbs over the mirror at the sink was 2 different color bulbs. Overall, the room was under lit, again, marginal wattage in every bulb. I would not have such hi expectations if it wasn't $140/night.

24 hour restaurant was closed weeks before, why I choose the place. No breakfast or anything. Room was horrible, place was not very clean. Lamp did not work among other things. Room next to us must of been booked by ************, door closed and opened at least 200 times in a 4 hour period. As for others staying there, was no more than 4-5 other vehicles in parking lot for the night.

After getting there and looking at the room and seeing the filth and the condition that the room was in, I was showed four other rooms, and everyone of them was in the same kind of condition. There was giant stains on the carpet, stains on the bedspreads patches in the walls that was not painted, mold on the doors and ceilings. Bathroom sinks were busted Toilets had the wrong lids on them and the bathtub in one of the rooms looked like it had blood on it. I would highly recommend not to book a room at this place.

There is NO restaurant on the property as stated in the description of the motel. It is an older motel that has had some renovation. The room was clean but the bed was a little soft for us. Otherwise, the room was fine and quiet. Location is about 7 miles from Milton so the only businesses close-by are gas stations and a Waffle House.
