Let’s begin with the Positive: The idea of the hotel is novel in Milan & the room was interestingly decorated. Location, in the heart just a few steps from the Duomo.
The Negative: The hotel is very recent & that SHOWED on every level! I believe they should have waited a bit to sort out the “MAJOR” issues before deciding to open & charge high prices for what appeared like a trial or test run of the property!!
Examples : they were really understaffed! & the one person who spike good english was unfortunately the doorman (Christian) the rest were pleasant and made effort to understand but it starts to get hectic after a while when it affects your schedule and work!
There was NO number or menu for room service & the number provided on the screen is wrong so U have to call reception to order from a non existing menu!
Breakfast after ordering -personally- at the reception since we had a meeting the next day it did NOT arrive & when after waiting for almost 30 minutes we called for the SECOND TIME it was clear that they had zero idea so I requested to be cancelled because we had to leave they said ok but the showed up with breakfast not one person but 4 no trays carrying most items by hand!! Very uncomfortable to watch, & they did not understand what was said we obviously could not eat it most of the food -
Travel day, we ordered PERSONALLY from the restaurant manager yet again they forgot it & we had to call. And we paid full price for the breakfast which did NOT match
