The breakfast needs to be upgraded, pretty cheap , offer more options, offer more sweets , and more options of bread ,

Good sized bed in room and was upgraded to balcony which was nice feature.

I recently had to make an unexpected stop in Merritt, and so I booked a room at the Comfort Inn. I paid top dollar for this room, understanding that I had booked late and availability across several hotels was limited. We also arrived late in the day of our stay - factors which I admit might have contributed to my experience. Our room was adequately clean, and I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the front desk staff on check in. However, it was a very dated room and quite shabby. The breakfast was serviceably, but hardly expansive. For the price I paid I would expect a much higher quality experience all around - indeed nearby competing hotel chains offer much this. Had I paid half or less of what I did, I might have considered my experience satisfactory. However, under the circumstances that was not the case, and I do not feel I got good value.

The rooms were wonderful. Spacious, clean and homey. A sitting area with a sofa and chair where you can actually watch t.v. and not have to lay on the bed. The coffee proved in the room was great. The complimentary breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. Best hotel i stayed in on my short vacation.

Good view of hills and highways. Good breakfast. Convenient on and off of BC-5 for a overnight stop.

This place is nasty dirty. My friend and I each had a room. Both showers were gross. I bought a gallon of vinegar and we scrubbed the showers. One shower head was plugged. One toilet had sticky yellow pee all over the seat. They were draining the pool but said it would be full and warm overnight. Manager repeated that when I questioned his promise. The next day the pool was hardly 2/3 full with cold water from a garden hose. Manager does not understand or speak English. Neither do some other staff.

The front dress staff could be a little more friendly, however room, and amenities were awesome. Great pool, clean property would definitely say again.
