ホワイト ドー イン(White Doe Inn Bed & Breakfast)

Warm and welcoming! We so enjoyed staying at the quaint B&B and it was was a perfect romantic getaway for early April! Breakfast was yummy and the landscaping was beautiful. Easy to get around town, too!

The room was beautiful, very quaint and cozey. This is a beautiful historic house with tons of character. The staff was amazing and the breakfast and snacks they prepared were excellent. The ONLY complaint I have is that the stairs going from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor are extremely narrow which made it difficult to get luggage up and down (because it's a historic site they can't make any changes to it). Stay on the first or second floor if possible. The location was great, we were only a few blocks from all of the shops on the waterfront. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable bed and the bath tub was amazing! My husband and I loved the quaint little inn and the workers were very pleasant. Our room had a private entrance which helped when we got back late, we did not feel as if we were disturbing the other guests. We plan to celebrate our anniversaries here in the future!

We spent 3 nights at this B&B and truly enjoyed how quaint and well decorated everything was. The breakfast was large and very yummy! But, there were a few drawbacks to consider before you stay here. First, the bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable. Second, the water pressure in the bathroom shower and sink was quite minimal. Third, there were ants in the bathroom. Last, the shower in the room above our room leaked into our room. We were told someone would come and fix it and clean our room but that did not happen. Just things to consider before you book your stay.

An absolutely wonderful experience. My wife and I had never been to the outer banks of NC before and really looked forward to the experience. We loved our vacation there....in no small part by our stay at the White Doe Inn in Manteo. Everything about the inn was great. Topanga was a gracious hostess...filled with ideas she shared about what to do, what to see, and where to dine. The accommodations were superior and the breakfasts were first class. There is no doubt that we will be back, and I encourage all Outer Banks travelers to choose the White Doe Inn.

We stayed in the Virginia Dare room. It looked so inviting on website, but while it was a lovely room I was a bit disappointed with the bathroom maintenance. The tub/shower had little to no caulking around the edges. The TV was tricky. However, Donna was very helpful in showing us how to workaround its quirks. The staff was friendly when they were there.. Breakfast was good and the 24 hour coffee machine was a blessing.

The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was delicious...especially the biscuits and gravy. If you like old Inns and in room fireplaces this is your spot. Wish we had, had time to walk around the town but our time was limited. The Outer Banks is definitely worth visiting.

We rented all rooms of the Inn for a wedding. The staff took such good care of us, and took any problems/plan changes in stride. Our wedding guests all loved the space, and it was so special to be able to call the building "home" for a few days. They even took dietary restrictions into account for meals! Afternoon snacks don't hurt :D Thank you ALL for your hospitality and genuine care.

To celebrate our 40th anniversary we went to the Outer Banks and stayed three nights at The White Doe Inn. What a lovely place! Our room was nice, the breakfasts were good and the staff went above and beyond. They really know how to make you feel like a treasured guest!!
