We stayed in a handi-capped accessible room. Unfortunately the toilet was toddler sized and the bathtub was a very high. Difficult for someone with a disability to navigate.

Nice hotel with an amazing view! The room was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and we really liked the private balcony. The breakfast was just ok, but there are lots of places to eat in town.

I liked the quaintness of the Inn and the staff was great. I was extremely disappointed int the restaurant. Thy were not open for dinner and the breakfast was mediocre at best,

Hillside Inn is an old hotel with a lot of charm. It does not offer a place to work out and it does not have a swimming pool. It does have character and great nighttime views from your private balcony. It is located on the edge of Madison Indiana. From your balcony you have a veiw of Madison Indiana and the Ohio river. It is a great place for adults wanting the feel of a town that is somewhat locked in a long ago time. If you like shopping for antiques there are several very nice antique stores. I highly recommended Hillside Inn and Madison Indiana.

The property was very quaint, yet a little dated. The staff was wonderful. The free breakfast was just okay. We opted to go out to eat instead.

As always it was clean and pleasant. Have stayed there on several occasions and is the Hotel of choice when we visit Madison In. The people are always eager to help and willing to take the time to answer questions.

We loved the view of the bridge and looking down main street from the beautiful windows in the dining area.
Our room was warm and we weren't able to control the temp but we open the window to allow in some cooler air. Love the heated floors in the bathroom. The breakfast was also excellent.
